Same for me. 2,552 miles and 729 recharges on the ALTA is a bit too far for a one day event. I am interested to hear about the new Lightning street bikes and especially interested in the real world range and charge times. Their marketing info is claiming some pretty good numbers.

It takes a significant change to riding style and it will slow your lap times a bit, but you can help your range by staying off the brakes as much as possible and using the regen "engine braking". I have never done any controlled experiments but I'm guessing at least a 20% range improvement...
