I must be seeing something wrong then... You appear to be in Washington state, or Western Australia, and the bike with the charging issue is in Long Island. I'm probably making a fuss about things that aren't my business though. At least you're willing to help.

What's your frame of reference for close?

I have used my old trusty eu2000 to charge my Alta without issue, although only below 5000 feet of elevation. And never had any issue with the GFCI on either of my generators. So I guess I'm not much help.

So you are using 110v normally then.... If I understand correctly.

It doesn't sound like you have a fuse problem...

Possibly, are you using the fast charger or the standard charger? This conversation is regarding making an adapter for using the fast charger on 110v standard plugs.

The next step in trouble shooting would be to validate that the GFCI box is not faulty.

That's a nifty water heater. Something like that would definitely make living in a van down by the river much more comfortable. If I show up and use my setup, it will be obvious I was raiding the scrapyard.
