I really would like to build a J1772 adapter that does the handshake to charge at public charge stations (using the Alta fast charger of course) I don’t understand circuits well enough to build the unit myself but would be very appreciative if the knowledgeable people on the forum can come...

I installed the low profile seat concepts seat and didn’t work out for me - it has an awkward shape in my opinion making it harder to shift your weight side to side - on the positive side it is a really good quality item. Willing to sell mine if someone is interested.

It seems you would need this communication adapter and the fast charger to be able to charge at a charge station with a J1772 connector.

So do you think that with this control module it would be possible to plug an Alta into a public level 2 charger?

Could the fast charger be the handshake box.

So if we make this adapter then we need to plug it into the fast charger correct. I believe these are the two connectors we need to make this adapter. Would appreciate if someone could do a wire schematic even though it is probably very simplistic.

I got a second hand set of 2006 YZ shrouds and mocked them up. Needs a little fine tuning but fit is not bad and the knee area is really nice and smooth. Would be good to 3D scan and add the Alta connection points

Thanks for the responses - my gearbox noise also went up when I noticed the issue - flushed the gear oil - since changing the gear oil no more problems, gear noise back to normal - still frothy which is apparently aeration

I will take both your rear fenders if they are still available.
