    What coolant?

Any 50/50 you would use in any other motorcycle is fine. If you change it, let the pump run while you add coolant. The pump can run dry for weeks, don't worry about damaging it. Let the pump circulate the fluid as you add it. Then, I recommend that you take a short ride and check it again...

    BAD NEWS

Some important functional updates in there. It should not affect the performance at all. Recommended for safety and reliability, which is generally the root of all the firmware updates. Things we learn from in the field failures and glitches (we call them bugs) are remedied and prevented from...

Any way to eliminate the key?

Here's the only problem with that. You can take a short ride, get off the bike, and easily leave it in drive. I've seen a non moving EXR turn it to an EXR on it's side in the parking lot when an onlooker walks up and twists the throttle while the bike sits in drive. Just FYI. I always turn that...

Charger issue, 2017 Alta Redshit MX - help!

My definition of serviceable would mean replaceable without special tools or soldering or adding parts. I suggest that the owner have a bit of patience rather than void the warranty (if there is any) on the charger. But, riders want to ride, and I also get that.

    MXR display buttons?

I'll clarify. When TC is working, it works well, i.e. map 1. I don't think it's intervening in the circumstances you describe.

    MXR display buttons?

You don't notice the TC because it works well and it doesn't have to cut spark like an ICE. Believe me, it's there. The extra buttons are indeed for future features. We're working on it.

    Gear noise while rolling.

Noise from the motor and gearbox when rolling is quite normal. FYI, our recommendation is to change the gearbox oil at 10 hours (any particles from the build will be flushed), then every 100 hours or once a year. Use an 80w-90 gear oil, what you would normally use in a ICE bike gearbox. Any...

    EX Shuts Tail Light Off

The 7225 bulb is also an option, but I have not experimented with it.

    EX Shuts Tail Light Off

Correction for our owners - the bulb is a 7528, not a 7568. My bad.

    EX Shuts Tail Light Off

Most auto parts stores will have a 7568. It fits Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, etc.

    EX Shuts Tail Light Off

The OEM bulb is a 7568 rather than an 1157. This is the European equivalent. Might I suggest that you purchase a new 7568 bulb and try it before the trip to the dealer? It might not solve the problem, but, then again, it could. The issue here is what is called inrush current. Our software based...

Flashing blue light on top of the battery pack

The blue light flashes quickly showing that the battery is in shutdown mode, discharging the capacitor and making the high voltage circuit as safe as possible - an important process if one is to work on the system. There are no patterns, only the rapid flashing indicating shutdown.
