I never got a title for my MXR. It was a demo from Motovate Performance in NY which I believe went out of business shortly after Alta did. I think they said I was supposed to get a certificate of origin via email, but I never got it.

My Alta stays in a heated room all winter, and my gas bikes are out in the cold.

Don't get to bent out of shape over looks from mini parents. It probably just hurt their egos seeing little Johnny get passed. I bet little Johnny thought it was cool though. Half of the mini parents are nuts, and yes I'm a mini parent.

My front fender bolts came loose. That's a little better than my KX500 holds together.

18 MXR Vin 372 Hours 89.5 Miles 1076 Shows code 35 when I press and hold the one button. IDK if it's an old code or new one. Probably needs the last update. Runs fine.

We try to ride at least every 2 weeks at the Switchback indoor track near Butler in the winter. The owners of the track got in pretty big trouble, but as far as I know it is still open.

I couldn't make a better post than that. And if I was going to spend $30k on a street bike I'd buy 3 or 4 more Altas instead.

Thank you. You saved me some money! I've been interested in one, but afraid of my 230 pound ass destroying it. I'll stick to my old 2003 frankenpitbike, CRF150f with CR85 suspension, Excell wheels, and a lifan 200cc. Something quieter would be nice tho.

Buy it. I see you are in PA. If you are a reasonable distance from Edinboro, PA you can ride at my place any time on an Alta.

I haven't raced since 2007 but if my bike is working I'd like to go. On a side note my private track near Erie PA is done and open for any Altas to ride for free. I may need help watering, but that's it.

The Cobra was there. Maybe they were late setting up and you missed it. I stole the pic from someone else. I wanted to go, but decided to see Pastrana, Doug Henry, Mike Brown, and Damon Bradshaw racing at Pleasure Valley Raceway.

Was the KTM/Husky e mini on display? How about the Cobra e mini?

I'm not sure what to think. I'm not seeing a rebadged Alta, so it's hard to think anything besides "I wish we could still buy Altas".
