There's no reason not to send his bike if it was in time for the big shipment to the USA. California is probably greater market than the whole world put together. Some bikes have been delivered to regional dealers (in EU) and probably/sadly to 'influencers' weeks ago.

Could someone please remind me of the delivery timeline of the first MX bikes? Not the first two year delay, but when the production and deliveries started. I'm trying to divine what would be an ETA of an order placed in May-June.

Stark office must have noticed it. It was uploaded a few hours ago by a Slovenian dealer. It showed a white EX bike, but only the the phone and app. I can't say what was new or different about it, but there were A LOT of locked out settings that you would need to 'subscribe' to. (n)

Assuming that the MX and EX bikes are largely developed (i.e. the same) what else than the throttle/traction is taking up Stark's development? [I'm trying unsuccessfully not to bring up the dildo technology] Principle of deliberate trickle-development by some other Euro off-road factories...

I clicked on most European dealers listed on Stark site. There are some real dealers/distributors, but also very many that appear to be small affiliates or just contacts. In any case, that's a lot of emails and contracts. Impressive for a company with a single product in a niche market.

Stark factory is in Girona, right? When I talked to them they offered me a direct pickup (i.e. I arrange all the transport), but I doubt I could just walk to the factory gate. Logistics companies do that. It's funny that you have to wait longer than someone in California, but it was explained...
