The 9c battery is only responsible to ignite the start-up sequence. Therefore, I don't think it will shut the bike off once started already.

I wonder how they feel compared to the Rekluse LHRB that I use. Stopping power is not as great as the front Brembo, but the leverage does let you modulate the power delivered until full brake. It has a knob that changes the feel of the brake (how much to press in order to get max power)...

I was also worried about that. This is why ן think, it will be smarter to load only the inverter fw of the SM into the EX. For some reason, both SM and EX use the same inverter fw.

Tried that, but both EX and SM use the same Inverter fw 2.18.7. So where are the different maps located?

Read the notes release of the Erzberg fw and they only note "hill hold" & motor temp different cutoff. Weird

From what I gather, tractor mode spin the wheel much slower, hence preventing unwanted wheel spin, and lets you creep along. Erzberg fw also have different voltage limits to make better use of the battery in race conditions.

The closest I got to 0 regen is by using the SM (supermoto model maps). Maps 1 and 2 are great for the lack of regen, but may not be powerful enough for you (motocross) Map 4 on the SM is by far the strongest, but the regen is very hard and pronounced. I'll give these maps a try for the enduro...

I uploaded the Erzberg software to my EX, but tractor mode (map 2) is not functioning as it should. Hill hold does work fine.

Would like to upload the SM maps to my EX. Do I need to upload the entire SM firmware, or only the module that is responsible for the different maps? Wouldn't the fact that the SM have onboard charger cause any problem to the offboard charger EX (firmware wise)?

Basically, a clutch, can prevent a whisky throttle from going horribly wrong. In gas bikes, hammering the throttle will get you to the max RPM of the gear you're in. Hammering the throttle on an electric bike will have you flying to rediculous speed in no time. LHRB can not cope instantly...

Looking at Ty Tremaine Erzberg bike, seems like they added it somehow. Steve is right, they used a mod of some sort.
