The bike had 3/4 of a charge when I got it. I pissed around on it (of course) for a little bit and the bike is at half charge now.

Black wire to "X", white wire to "Y", nothing to "W" and green wire to the ground.

Curious as well about cold weather storage. I'm up in Northwestern Pa and my garage isn't heated. We see sub zero temps in the winter. Will storing the bike in the freezing cold hurt anything?

I just got my Alta MX yesterday and got to play around on it a little bit. The bike is absolutely perfect and the LHRB is the only mod I really see myself doing to it. I did some searching on the forums and seen a couple different ways to do this, just want to be sure I go the best route.
