Press First Ride this week is at Spoaks Motopark near Austin TX. They brought in some special Zero emissions chargers.

    Deals on Starks?

I heard originally about dealerships committing to very large orders, like 40. It seemed odd, but in the auto industry sometimes the dealers get a discount based upon how many orders they place. Wondering if that’s what is happening here?

    Wing Seats

Great info that applies to any bike. Now about those numbers... Have you tried a scoop tire? They are like cheating.

Stark rider triangle and bar position

With the body folded forward riding position being in vogue, I'd imagine it was done purposely. Most reviews have called it the best handling bike ever.

In 2026 there will be an electric class in the World MX Championship

Dave Prater with Feld mentioned early this year that SX would be doing the same thing soon. The MXGP thing had already been floated, and Anton at Stark replied that he would not be giving support to a separate class, he wants integration.

RE: Stark - My conversation with Mike Burkeen, AMA Deputy Director of Racing

I was talking about you over here: https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/ama-and-electric-motorcycles-in-ama-races.3406/page-9#post-39855

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

This 100%. As good as Stark is, there is much more to come and be addressed in the e-bike field. Weight and range and personal tuning all remain challenges. Gas bikes will be forced to get better, maybe more displacement, the return of big 2 Strokes, Works bikes from unknown companies (Tesla)...

    Deals on Starks?

I'm in the market by the fall. Not 100% on the Varg, thinking of building an Electro and Co. YZF? The pricing shakedown could be fun, including Beta closing out the '24's. Keeping my powder dry for a few months.

Less rules is better. Settle it on the racetrack.

Are you AgileMike on Vital? A new post covers this subject, with Mike's responses. Re: Stark-My conversation with Mike Burkeen, AMA Deputy Director of Racing First, I will say that I'm seeing progress, a post on e-bikes that hasn't turned into a complete shit show. GuyB booted me a few years...

    Deals on Starks?

I don't think the one at Temecula is a demo for $11,999? It looks like dealers sitting on inventory are starting to discount new bikes.

    Deals on Starks?

I think around $1200 freight, setup, and doc. I think? The thing I am wondering is now that dealers are sitting on inventory, and warehouse’s too, and the market is soft, what are people seeing for prices?

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

There are several brands that could compete with prototypes. There has never been a better reason for an unlimited open class, with R&D in its infancy. Nobody knows where the technology will take us, solid state batteries, hybrid etc.

Dave Prater with Feld said that SX is working on a “exhibition” class? TBD what that means.

Flux Performance - eMX startup from Europe

There’s no replacement for the competitive advantage in racing of a lightweight quick swap setup. Smaller/lighter performance benefits outweigh the disadvantages of range.

AMA and Electric Motorcycles in AMA races

Most rules are unenforceable. Open class is common in off road any ways. The AMA “safety” is a smokescreen for “money” for OEM’s.
