"Heavy"... The bike actually feels lighter than a 250cc bike when riding. It is only heavy if you pull on the bars to loft the front wheel or lift the entire bike on the bike stand.

Interesting. Four years ago they were not interested in motorcycles. Apparently, they thought there were no profit margins in them. And now they decided to produce a Zero competitor, not an Alta successor.

I think this idea might have actually come from Tesla or some EV car designers. The EV "skateboard" concepts and designs with structural battery packs have been floating around for years. The Model Y is now a single structural battery pack with the front and the rear single-piece cast bulkheads...
