Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

Unfortunately Stark doesn't give us any release notes on updates unless they are adding range or some other new feature, in which case they release a video describing the changes. All along they have been promising to start providing release notes, but, believe it or not, they haven't yet...

Keep checking your Stark Varg changing plug

Actually this has been fixed from the factory, they are now shipping with molded plugs. However, if I was you, I would send those photos to Stark support, and I would expect them to (at least) send you a new cable.

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Not sure how many bikes are already paid in full, do you have some info on that? If they have a container full for a specific destination, probably about 40 bikes, they will ship it. What do you think they gain by NOT shipping?

    Assembly quality?

Stark ships the bikes almost completely assembled. Anything that needs grease was assembled in Spain, so it doesn't matter if or which dealer you use. The unboxing and assembly involves the handlebars, number plate, foot pegs, front fender and wheel. So, if you lose your front fender bolts...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

No, companies do NOT like a lot of expensive inventory. They want their parts/components delivered to them "just in time," for assembly, and then they will ship finished bikes as soon as they have a container full for each specific destination. I am sure they are not sitting on thousands of...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

I just quoted the google search results for "how many motorcycles does stark future produce per day" granted, this may be inaccurate...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Agreed! "In production" evidently does NOT mean that they have started to assemble it. According to recent reports, Stark Future is currently producing around 69 motorcycles per day.

Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

A friend's bike was blinking yellow in neutral. At that time, his phone would not connect to the bike, so he could not tell his battery state of charge. Stark sent a new wireless charging module for the Stark phone, and this solved the problem.

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

Hell yea, get it under warranty! $2.90 is great, but they will probably charge you $15 shipping if you order it outside of warranty

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

If this is the one Amazon sent you, it has the wrong threads, it says: Thread Size: M12 x 1.25 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KMJ2HQ6/?tag=sce0f-20

    Varg - Gear Oil Change

They want pics and VIN to replace it under warranty. I don't think that Toyota plug has the right threads, should be M10 x 1.5 for the Varg.

    LHRB conversion kit

You can also probably change your order if you want to. I made several changes to my original order during the "waiting period."

    LHRB conversion kit

I am looking at the Stark website in the USA, and the rear hand brake kit is this: SMX1-BR-RWHB-KT Complete rear hand brake kit (Brembo) 278.90 $ However, I would recommend adding the hand brake and leave the foot brake, so you can have both (costs less, because you already have the caliper)...

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

Any insurance company is going to require the VIN before providing coverage. Otherwise, how would they know what exact bike they are covering, and how could they process a claim or prevent fraud?

    Charging - 220 vs 110

I didn't receive an adapter when I picked up my bike around May 1 2024. I should have asked for one, but just made my own for about $7 with an Amazon female L14-30r. Also, when I got mine, the charger had the removable type plug (not the molded plug they are shipping now).

Rox Handlebar Risers - Cable Length Issues?

Yes, they actually mentioned in the video that you can swap out the bars and run the wiring externally.

Rox Handlebar Risers - Cable Length Issues?

It would be pretty easy to extend the wiring on the current model. But the new EX model will have a sealed new version of the wiring harness, so, it may be more difficult, or you may be able to find the right connectors to make extensions. I doubt if Stark will offer any plug and play solution.

Rox Handlebar Risers - Cable Length Issues?

I have a buddy with risers on his Varg MX, however, I'm sure they are much less than 5"

Rox Handlebar Risers - Cable Length Issues?

I suggest you send this question to support@starkfuture.com. We can guess, but hopefully they will give a good answer.
