New high performance E-MX from Germany

I think there has been more than one reason for a single shock with a linkage system. Engineers kept moving the shocks forward on the swing arm to increase the suspension travel. They probably tried longer and skinny dampers too, but noticed that larger and slower-moving dampers were more...

    Battery Cooling

The MX is not well-suited for motocross in summer temperatures. My approach was to sell it and buy an MXR. @Mark911's approach was to build a new bike. If I had to keep the MX, I would probably install a water mist sprayer onto the bike and keep it spraying onto the battery while riding/racing...

New high performance E-MX from Germany

Crap. I am all for innovative approaches, even if it means going back in time. But the suspension performance on a motocross bike is like 80-90% of the game. We already had motorcycles with 50hp like 70-100 years ago, but they could not compete in supercross until the suspension technology...

New high performance E-MX from Germany

I think once E-MX bikes with 60-70 hp start coming out, it will be game over. No 450 will be able to keep up with them anywhere on the track.

Did it really need radiator shrouds as wide as the handlebars?

I am getting very E-XCITED! The lower back of this sweetheart is giving me an uncontrollable e-rection. I urgently need to hump it! Are these twin shocks??? LOL!!!

    A new competitive EMX bike

It is definitely not a DIY project, so let's hope Yamaha learns something from it and builds us a production bike. I want to see Tomac on an electric Yamaha!

H-D Spins off Livewire to create a new brand

Ford is toying with the idea of spinning out its Bronco and Mustang into unique sub-brands, an idea that the automaker's been kicking around for the past couple of years. Fiat Chrysler spun off Viper into its own brand, then killed it. They also spun off Dodge Ram trucks into its own Ram brand...

    A new competitive EMX bike

Cool. But this isn't really a production-intent bike. It is a project bike and "a foundation for further development". https://www.emx-powertrain.com/project

    Moto Cinch review

I think I am going to buy a pair of those for my motovan to secure the third bike backwards in between my other two bikes that would face forward. I can't really use a front wheel chock with a backwards facing bike!

I have a more sturdy and elegant seat mod proposal for this bike:

    Kandi e-bike

Ouch!!! This seat post would really hurt once it bends or snaps on the first hard landing. Most of these e-bike designers never rode a dirt bike before.
