Throttle and traction control on the Stark

Not necessary, the throttle rolls on very smoothly! Most of us want more throttle response at lower horsepower.

    Gear oil plug...!

the size that fits  Honestly, unless you drill it through first, an ez out is probably not going to work since it looks like they torqued the :poop: out of it. I would use a hammer and punch, or cut a slot with a cut off wheel. That other thread has methods from folks who have successfully...

    Stark charger modifications

I think you can disconnect those connectors, although I have never done it, and there is that other wire attached with a screw. Separating the cables would help with the bulkiness, but it still wouldn't be fun to carry...

    Gear oil plug...!

That thread is a bit long, but there are photos and advice from folks who had to use a chisel or other extraction methods.

    Gear oil plug...!

I would send that photo to Stark, they should send you the new redesigned plug with an external hex. See this thread: https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/varg-gear-oil-change.3391/ OH, and welcome, this forum is the best place I have found for Stark Varg info.

    New software update firmware 1.0.185 (416) 2/8/2025

Make sure bluetooth and wifi are turned on in the phone. You have to have a google account for the play store. Have you tried to go to google play store, look for the Varg app, and update? If this doesn't help, delete the Varg app, reboot the phone, and re-install the Varg app from google play.

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

If the EX launch is anything like the MX launch was, the YouTube influencers will be the first to receive their bikes, and will begin immediately churning out their "unboxing" and "first ride" videos for the folks waiting and considering ordering.

ktm exc rear wheel fit stark varg?

The bearing IDs and ODs are the same. KTM has several different spacers. At least some of the spacers fit inside the bearing as well as against the face of the bearing. The axle then fits inside the spacer. On Stark (and ~maybe~ late model KTM) the spacer has the same ID as the bearing and...

    Varg charging from generator.

If you see a twist-lock AC receptacle on a generator that has 4 prongs it should be 240V. There are 120V twist-lock AC receptacles but they only have 3 prongs. Here is the cheapest Harbor Freight generator (that I could find on their website) with 240V: EDIT...

ktm exc rear wheel fit stark varg?

Yes, I have a KTM rear wheel on my Varg. Must use Varg spacers which do not go inside bearings, just against face.

Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

Unfortunately Stark doesn't give us any release notes on updates unless they are adding range or some other new feature, in which case they release a video describing the changes. All along they have been promising to start providing release notes, but, believe it or not, they haven't yet...

Keep checking your Stark Varg changing plug

Actually this has been fixed from the factory, they are now shipping with molded plugs. However, if I was you, I would send those photos to Stark support, and I would expect them to (at least) send you a new cable.

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Not sure how many bikes are already paid in full, do you have some info on that? If they have a container full for a specific destination, probably about 40 bikes, they will ship it. What do you think they gain by NOT shipping?

    Assembly quality?

Stark ships the bikes almost completely assembled. Anything that needs grease was assembled in Spain, so it doesn't matter if or which dealer you use. The unboxing and assembly involves the handlebars, number plate, foot pegs, front fender and wheel. So, if you lose your front fender bolts...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

No, companies do NOT like a lot of expensive inventory. They want their parts/components delivered to them "just in time," for assembly, and then they will ship finished bikes as soon as they have a container full for each specific destination. I am sure they are not sitting on thousands of...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Agreed! "In production" evidently does NOT mean that they have started to assemble it. According to recent reports, Stark Future is currently producing around 69 motorcycles per day.
