EX In Desert South Of Boise

This *might* be slippery. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Yes, I would definitely add studs if I had to ride this. I actually did ride the woods in winter on a mountain bike a few years ago. It was fun if the snow wasn't too deep. I eventually added studded tires for confidence, in case I hit bare ice.

Battery care -- winter riding and hibernation

Re-watching this video again, after having read all the stuff on this great forum, makes a whole lot more sense. It might be possible to convert the Redshift to using 1 or 2 of these. They are 27 x 11.5 x 3.5", which is too big to be a direct drop-in, but perhaps cutting it in 2-3 pieces is the...

Yes, Teslas do have battery heaters. Maybe coolers too, I just do not know what kind.

    Broken display - solution?

They might be able to sell/exchange new LCDs to current SOL owners, after removing or not removing any identification marks from them. Or exchange the complete PCBA. That is if they are the ones soldering everything together. Waiting for @John Lindemann or @SuburbanDad to do that...

I am not quite sure what this means.

    Broken display - solution?

Looks like these two guys with such displays have tried this already. Can anyone recognize that pyramid-looking "SC" logo? @SuburbanDad -- Would you be able to separate the LCD and take a look at the back side of it?

    Broken display - solution?

You can also install some trip meter app on your phone. Hope you have been keeping track what maximum distance you were able to go when riding your local trails. I think it is 35+ (??) miles of leisurely off-road riding for most guys around here: How Far Have You Gone?

    New speedometer display screen

There are no new displays anywhere that I know of. Alta was out and was building a new batch the day before the shutdown. Dealers are unlikely to stock such an expensive item. New displays are now all on new bikes. Your best course of action right now is to wait. Use a trip meter app to...

    BAD NEWS

People break arms, legs, ribs and other things all the time by falling or slipping on sidewalks. How boring. When I break something riding a motorcycle I always say that at least I was having fun!

N2Dirt and Dal Soggio Sphere Upgrade

I thought I would try my new N2Dirt suspension in Texas today, but it might be too muddy here, I even got a flood warning among my phone notifications.

N2Dirt and Dal Soggio Sphere Upgrade

I need new rear wheel bearings myself. With barely 10 hours on the clock my MXR is already squealing. And I was pretty careful not to blast the seals directly.

    Great t-shirt!

Thank you for the t-shirt, @schwankl ! Just got back from my vacation last week and found it in the mail. It fits and looks great! (y)(y) Did you order your SXS skid plate from SXS directly? I need to order one more for my second MXR. Need to make sure it comes with another t-shirt!

Are you sure about the need for a laptop? I thought you'd just take the battery apart, like @Mark911 did, and see a loose wire.
