    Alta's LHRB w/ foot brake

Prego. I think you could buy/borrow the Clake piece from @OneLapper. I do not have the routing pics, sorry. But the hose goes into the frame hole under the "gas tank" and comes out of another hole by your right foot. I used a wire and some duct tape to pull the hose though, from the bottom up...

    Alta's LHRB w/ foot brake

The clutch hose from the DIY thread looks just like yours at the master cylinder. Clutch hose KTM P/N 60032063100 from the 2014+ KTM Adventure (must straighten by 45deg at your own risk). Someone was also ordering custom lines, but they are not off-the-shelf and you may not get them in time.

    Pro Motocross 2018

My girlfriend likes Roczen the most because he is very personable during interviews. She took pictures with him at Red Bud this year and two years ago. Tomac had a terrible day at Red Bud this year, his whole team left early, she didn't understand why he didn't stay longer to celebrate with the...

360 Video of a lap at one of my local practice tracks

Awesome!!! You look like a pro motocrosser! The camera must be using complex algorithms to combine all the views. The frame rate makes the smooth flowing landscape views pretty smooth, but the movements of other riders are a bit unnatural, exactly like in a video game! I first noticed it this...

    Gearing for ST (Single Track)

Yep, this is a common experience. I think it has to do with not having to pause your breath, dance on footpegs, switch your pace, or brace for a power hit when you would shift on a gas bike. Add a LHRB and riding will become even more relaxing.

    2019 / 2020 wish list

Modular batteries! If I want to ride for 4 hours or race for an hour, I would like to be able to add one or two 2 kWh 20 lbs $1,000 batteries and finish the ride/race.

Alta demo in Michigan this weekend

If you'd like, we could establish an annual forum trophy for "The Most Special Alta". It could be a tie though between your most time at the dealer and most troubles, and @Mark911 's most customized and most expensive.

    Pro Motocross 2018

Spoiler Alert !!! What an amazing display of physical fitness by Tomac today. He got crappy starts, as usual, and still passed everyone on the last few laps. It must have been so hot and humid that Musquin and then Roczen hit the wall in their ability to maintain the pace. Not Tomac. Amazing...

Alta demo in Michigan this weekend

No, it's the low-speed rebound damping that keeps it from clunking. Maybe your clickers are almost in, or you got a special one-off MX suspension that nobody else has!

How do you use your Alta?

Am I the only one who does not know what "ST" means?

Alta demo in Michigan this weekend

I had that fork clunk on my MX too until I revalved my suspension and added damping. It don't think it is dangerous, but it certainly does not sound good, it does not feel good on you hands, and it sort of upsets the bike in whoops and sand rollers by kerning the front end down.

    Warranty/Dealer question

I think it might actually be possible to incorporate the map tuner software into the dash. It has a display and a plenty of buttons, so all Alta needs to do is write the software. Who here can code? Apply for a job at Alta! They might even let you work from home without moving to San Francisco...

Alta demo in Michigan this weekend

I got a chance to test out the EX and the EXR. Both have a top speed of 75 mph (the dash says). The EX and EXR suspension is way too soft. The EX has the 4CS fork that clunks when it tops out. The EXR has an Explor fork, which is much nicer. Still, too soft. The EX should come with the MX...

My decal graphics from Limited Decal

    0) Wash the bike, remove old stickers, remove the remaining glue. I also cleaned it with a contact cleaner. 1) Align the graphics to make sure you know where you want it to be. 2) Spray the plastic with the fluid. Water could work too, but it is not as slippery. 3) Remove the graphics' backing...
