Have there been any EX deliveries yet? Post your delivery here.

Deliveries are in full swing here (Austria). When I picked up mine from the dealer there were also 3 other guys picking up the EX. Ordered the bike in December and was promised an April delivery. No info until a week ago when I got the invoice and a call a day later to pick it up - can't...

Might want to check your CAN bus connection

Thanks for the info. If look at one of the above pictures there are the letters "RT" printed on the connector which seems to lead to the Amphenol RT360/RT series. They do have a metal shell though, but the lock pattern seems identical. https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1385607.pdf Michael

Might want to check your CAN bus connection

What happens when you remove the 4 Torx screws - can you pull out the connector? Best case it is not soldered to a board directly and has some free length of cable. Might be worth a try. Michael

    Stark charger modifications

The charger in the Varg is labeled as a "C1000" configuration which is not listed in the spec sheet of the EVPT23-32010. But since all CAN configurations start with "C" I'd strongly assume it is CAN as well, probably a Stark proprietary protocol. Michael

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

In the comments he says that one of the buttons on the handlebar switch might be stuck - something that happened on the MX Varg as well. I don't think the EX has old style "fuses", probably more like electronic fuses like the latest KTM offroad generation that reset once the short has been...

Switch off light on Varg EX

When you activate high beam, does the low beam turn off or are both lit at the same time? Obviously the most convenient way would be to turn it off via an app setting, so maybe there is something hidden in the EX app. Do the US bikes behave in the same way? On ICE bikes you could often use the...

    Ex light on Mx

On the European bikes the red connector is used for the required separate license plate lighting. So probably 12V permanently like the rear light. At a price of around 150€ the rear light seems pretty expensive for just a few LEDs and connectors, so I wouldn't completely rule out a simple CAN...
