The SM charger issue sounds similar to the issues we have had here.

Displays are still buildable. But V1 displays are long in the tooth. The 200.00 cost that @Philip is quoting is related to the display board itself. The physical display replacement/fix is a bit more (labor/materials). Everyone is aware the V1 display is a interesting piece of the bike...
The ACM is the reason for this. It takes in signals/inputs which affect the functioning of the bike. As @wwmotors said, the lighting system is all on the CAN bus of the bike and CAN isn't really fond of disconnect situations. Usually there's a 5ms delay in which you can get the function to work...
Handling instructions for dealers. These crates were used to safely ship packs across the US. Never technically rated for UN3480 which the RTW wants. (Ugh DG shipping blows)
@Philip since he swapped to the 4CS forks, the fork guards for the SM never changed. We used Acerbis forkguards...the SM fork guards might be Polisport.
As @snydes said, that is the dealer MT. Because you have a semi configured laptop you can download the Technician/MFG version of Multitool off the of the forum. Once loaded you can get the same functionality.
Main differences lie in the cells that were used between the A packs and the R packs. Also the connectors on the packs make them not swappable with each other. In a racing application (well depends what kind of racing). If you search in the forums for the comparisons/differences there are some...
