Well, I think we have the combined funds to purchase a wire bonder. As I see it, the issue is whether we get a hand held system that can be easily sent to the battery, or do we spend more and get a system that will do a better job but cannot be shipped or moved easily, necessitating the battery...

What the.............. I'd die doing most any of those stunts.

We're stuck on the wire bonding at the moment. We're looking for a DIY at home way of doing the bonding but haven't quite gotten there yet....

Still waiting on the parts to be shipped......... On another note, I did get some quotes from Gigavac for the contactors. I am going to order a set for both R and A packs. I'll make an attempt at replacing the R pack contactors on the old lid. It appears the A pack contactors are easy enough...

The LHRB stopped my MX from looping out when my son was goofing around with the Alta in the yard. The rear fender just touched the ground! It stopped the wheel fast enough to nearly toss him over the bars when it came back down!

I've been using 3M vinyl on my upper frame for a while. The frame is difficult to cover with a flat sheet, it's just the nature of the shape. Lot's of conforming and one sizable overlap on the top near the key. With braces it only last a couple of races, but with thicker vinyl it would last...

Yikes. I had no issue with mine. I did the switch on my MX and like it. Definitely heavier feel, but also feels more stable at speed in the rough

@Oded, did you take pictures of the contactor on your A pack? If so, can you DM me or post them here? I'm working on sourcing the contactors for our battery packs. The A and R packs used different components. Thanks OneLapper

@Oded , your data cable is on it's way to you. Thank you for the purchase and for supporting the forum! I suspect that the contactors will become an issue in both A and R packs. The contractors are the relays that connect the high voltage to the system. Like any relay, they are a wear item...
