If they can add something extra (I don't really know what SM riders want) then they can induce MX/EX street riders to sell and get the new SM. That would automatically double the presence of Vargs in urban areas and act as free advertising. I expect they must do something about power...

Numbers of units sold in Italy and Spain would be interesting to know. Germany making 50% doesn't ring true, I must admit. Do you have the numbers of units sold of Beta, Sherco, TM and other small manufacturers since the Varg came to the market? Those are the customers Stark is pulling away...

Here's a suggestion for a simple 3D print: Plugs for front and rear axle openings so as to keep the dirt and moisture out. Interference fit, nothing fancy. On other bikes I plug the axle with silicone, but on the Varg one side is pretty large and the other is the Hex screw so silicone won't suit.

Would a tow with another bike be just as effective? That is; how much resistance does regen makes to the rear wheel? I've towed bikes before, and it's not fun at all if the terrain is at all choppy or uphill. Dragging a regen anchor may be worse.

Thanks for report, Erwin. Always good to hear from real experience. Isn't it weird that what this bikes needs the most is a bit of software development? Compare that to 100 years of tinkering with base gaskets and jets and all that. In which van did you manage to pack all that gear? 🤔

Could you please describe the effect of full re-gen pull of the lever on the rear wheel and engine? Particularly on the steep, long downhills. Are you still in favor of finger lever over the thumb control? Is your re-gen similar to the Stark Varg? Thanks.

Could you please say how you connected that Shelly switch to the charger? I assume it could be installed directly into existing fuse box, right? Would one of those 'smart' plugs be safe to use?
