    Arkenstone connection and fees

Bixby button. It would be a good idea to make it change the modes as a bit of redundancy to the main switch. Must check.

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

I followed the similar path. A year ago I started thinking about a new 4T bike, but the limitations and potential headaches with the EFI made it unpalatable. Dealer was even charging 100$ just to flash the only usable map while the bike is still in the box. They can keep their proprietary SW and...

Stark varg support is the worst

If "Ferragosto" (mid-August holidays) is observed as religiously in Spain as in Italy, then nothing is getting done. It's frustrating if your business falls in this period, but it can't be helped. Well, it's either that or I've been blacklisted by Stark.

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

There's a separate link guard that fits the (early models) skid plate. https://www.dowatek.de/en/stark-varg/237/plastic-link-guard-stark-varg-mx-and-ex?c=358 Dowatek also makes a few other interesting protectors for the Varg. They raced it in the Romaniacs so should have direct experience on...

    The Gray Ghost

Entire world loved and still longs for the SXV. This is my favorite version.

Thanks for live reporting. How's the weather? Any signs of battery drain due to heat? Nice playground.

    Varg MX 1.2

There's a new assembly video of the MX 1.2 I couldn't spot anything different from the MX and the EX.

Poll: Are you using the original Stark Varg Stand/Charger as intended?

I have a similar size case that is a bit shallower. Apache case is ≈156 mm. My case is 120mm. Would you say that's enough height to fit the charger?

    Varg MX 1.2

I've seen Varg MX 1.0 for 9.999€ from a few dealers. Probably there will now be more at that price to clear room for 1.2 model.

    Varg MX 1.2

One paradox about fastest possible charging at the track is that battery will already be hot, and it may do more harm than good in the long term. I wish they focused instead on half-strength, small and portable charger.

    Varg MX 1.2

Do you have these three-phase plugs in your houses? Here they are used for larger consumers like ovens and heaters, but I don't see them on modern (EU) appliances. I wonder if it makes sense to use it with a Shuko adapter to charge the Varg.

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

Try contacting this guy about the app: He's the mysterious creator of the that first e-clutch. 80€ for the switch. High price for what it is, but as you say it's a critical component. https://www.mxguards.com/stark-varg-control-switch-smx1-hb-sw-993831

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

Can you try this method? https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/ex-custom-ios-android-app.4376/ If you still need radiator guards for the Beta these are excellent: https://www.p-tech.ee/Beta-RR-2020-radiator-guard-kit-250-300-2020-2021-2022-2023-2024-XPRO The front louvers are aluminum and in...

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

Do you have an aftermarket skid plate on your bike? Stark engine guard seems adequate to me. I haven't seen many reports of crash damage. It's a mercy not to have radiators taking the first impact like on an ICE bike. What will you carry in the toolkit while riding? There's a nice heatwave...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Thanks. Bookmarked. (y) While we're at it, here's another new piece of Chinese aluminium. [bonus points if you dare to install the purple one] https://www.nicecnc.com/products/stark-varg-mx-ex-right-side-large-motor-cover-guard-2024-2025?variant=46517492711654

    electronic clutch

The "electronic" part does not compute in that scenario. Usually when Vargs brake down all the electrons go to sleep and so will the clutch lever. P.S. FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR: Could you please merge all recent topics and posts about the clutch into one thread? Thank you.

    Stark Varg “weave” (steering wobble)

Do you only notice it on asphalt and at higher speed? If so try balancing the wheels using spoke weights. I've seen reports of as much as 100g needed. If you are noticing understeer or oversteer than try to check the fork legs alignment using this device...
