I agree, the Alta kit is not overpriced! I want to add to it's functionality by retaining the foot brake, like the Rekluse system. The Magura mastercylinder and Rekluse systems do not have the same quality as the Alta kit, hence my search for the Brembo master cylinder.

Excellent @snydes ! I found the parts diagram on the Rekluse system and see that the rear brake master cylinder insert is pretty pricey at $150! Would love to find one to look at vs buying one.

Butch, how would feel about loaning me the Rekluse setup so I can take a look at it? I wouldn't install it, just take some measurements and determine the thread diameter and pitch, then ship it right back.

Snydes, if you can look the master cylinder over for any identifiable part numbers, I would appreciate it. In addition, outside dimensions of the reservoir might be helpful. I dont mind walking through the KTM dealer with vernier calipers checking out the different clutch MC on all the models...

Good to learn that the individual components are available. I would think that Alta kit uses a clutch master cylinder which must matches the displaced volume of the rear brake pedal master cylinder, otherwise, as you figured out, the volume of brake fluid does not work adequately with the stock...

Does the Rekluse kit use a cable to the foot brake? The pictures of it I've seen online dont seem to show the mechanics of it.

Alta has repeated that the battery packs our bikes have will last 1000 charging cycles without performance degradation, so it would be safe to assume that the bike and the charger are working together to prevent overcharging and over depletion of the battery pack to safely achieve the longevity...
