Nice summary review Rashid. Thanks for posting. In respect to your not having any preferences or pre-tenses towards HD, forget about that and the Alta back out deal for a moment, this bike will most likely not be a success due to its $30k price tag. The Zero SR/F premium goes for $9K less and...
"That thing is so much better than my 65". This kid knows exactly how we all feel about our Altas. What a refreshing great video. Thanks for posting Snydes.
So the bottom video show a bike with a Crystalyte 54xx hub motor. Probably a 5404 or 5403. That motor with the rim and tire probably weight north of 45 pounds. My thinking is it won't handle great.
Not surprised at all. Live wire costs 30k and the latest Zero road bike goes for 10k less, has the same and maybe more range, and will smoke the live wire in acceleration.
Yah, your Map 3 felt like my Map 2. Probably because of my slightly lower gearing is why the my EXR map 2 and your EX map 3 feel so close. Yah, the throttle twisting did contribute to some of my power consumption no doubt.
Was truly a great ride with perfect weather. Thanks Gary for hosting and showing us Boise foot hills riding. Was also good to have a beer afterwards and discuss the ride, such as my like of range and how I was riding that contributed to that. Can't wait for next year.
No shit we were dead, it took 4.5 hours to charge my bike @ 110 volts after this ride. I am going to experiment with gearing, need to get a few more miles out of a charge. Staying light on the throttle will help as well.
