    My Redshift EX upgrades

Thank you for uploading the pictures, Oded! This looks like it is the latest Rekluse LHRB model. I have a few of their previous LHRB lever designs on my gas bikes, and I was not a big fan of those. Too spongy and not powerful enough. But this one looks more serious. . . . I noticed the max...

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

I was also told by one of Alta guys that the HP in all maps is the same (perhaps not in Map 1 though). What appears to be different is how exactly they reach that top HP.

Which maps are for what? (MX, MXR, EX)

This is from the 2017 Redshift manual. It has the info about the MX and SM models. I think this info is inaccurate though. I can definitely tell that in Map 2 the Regen is higher than in Map 3 or 4. I have seen a similar table somewhere else, and I think it was slightly different. I need to...

Going racing on my Alta Redshift MX!

The Redshift is awesome at climbing hills. In mode 1 I have climbed such hills that I was afraid to look at when I was on a 2-stroke. I am glad that hill climb video was slowed down and not sped up, LOL! Oh, and welcome to the forum, Oded. I've heard that Israel will be one of the first...

    240V Gasoline Generators

Got my DuroMax XP4400E in the mail this week. The lawn mower seems to be overpowering my camera's microphone. The lawn mower's loudness in the video seems about the same as the generator, but in real world the lawn mower appears to be about 2x louder.

    240V Gasoline Generators

Yes, and it is 220V in the rest of the world, more importantly in China. https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/220v-portable-generator.html What they do not have in the rest of the world is trusted user ratings, detailed specs, free shipping, free returns, and product support. When you factor these...

    The Alta Factory LHRB

Butch probably got it for free as part of his friends and family discount program. It is not available to the general public yet, AFAIK. Is there a Brembo part number on this part? Just curious if Alta had to do any special piston sizing on it that is different from the clutch master cylinder...

Thanks! I am actually bought it from NY. It has never been titled. You should call Hudson Valley Motorcycles tomorrow and ask for Corey. Ask him about all the local laws. He is a dealer, he is supposed to know. His phone number is (845)667-6466.

Video of one MXR owners total ride time

Oh, one more thing. At low intensity, the MX and the MXR batteries will last the same. They are both rated at 5.8 kWh. But at high intensity (competition) the MXR will do much better because it loses less energy to heat.

Video of one MXR owners total ride time

Yep, I had about the same experience, at least two hours when trail riding. It helps that he is riding mostly on hardback and rarely turns or uses brakes.

Fasst Company rear brake return spring on an Alta

When I first test-rode the Redshift, I immediately noticed that the rear brake was too grabby. My Husky TC250 rear brake is the same way too, but on the Alta you have no flywheel! The solution that I found is to install the Fasst Company rear brake return spring...

    Brake Mod and Foot Pegs

Welcome to the forum, Silent! That's a pretty grippy looking rear brake pedal tip. Thank you for sharing. Good to know that there is an easy fix for those short and slippery stock tip pins. I think my Tusk foot pegs are using the same pins. I posted a picture here...

Tusk foot pegs on an Alta

Got these Tusk YZ250/450F foot pegs installed. They are working very well. Feet stay put and do not slide anymore. I'm more confident when standing up too. I have race tested them already, they work great. The installation was not very smooth though. Tusk left too much aluminum near the return...
