12 adaptors for the Alta “fast charger”

Also, you still haven't answered the @Alisescu's question about the one adapter that he wants.

12 adaptors for the Alta “fast charger”

Make a poll on this forum, ask how many people would want more than one adapter, or 12 adapters. That would be more appropriate than continuing to break the forum's commercial advertising rules. And, guess what, if you make a product specifically for the Alta, you can then advertise it as much...

This video is for a wrong connector and for a 4-wire cable with a weird orange wire.

    Tiveni Intelligent EV Battery Packs

As we are losing the supply of old batteries, and looking into new and better ones, someone recommended me to to consider the products of this company for projects like Alta 2.0 kit bikes. https://tiveni.com The Tiveni packs are advertised as compact, light, cheap, and cooled.

Because they really need just one adapter. Not two adapters, a new plug, and the EE knowledge that is required to install it.

    Alta kit bike

Tony -- Please build us a better battery for Alta v1.0. Or a battery for Alta v2.0 with a new inverter and motor controller. Or at least add-on battery packs so that I could buy an SM and ride it 25 miles to work without having to plug it in there.

12 adaptors for the Alta “fast charger”

Someone needs to make a batch of NEMA 5-15 to L14-30 adapters and NEMA L14-30 to 5-15 adapters. Although, with only 200 new bikes left the sales will be very slow.

Good find, LOL! The five knobs are $8.38 with free Prime shipping. Maybe I will buy 1-3 from you in July when we go race that 24hr race. Or trade for a beer.

    BAD NEWS

Acerbis USA is clueless. We have an owner talking to Franco Acerbis, the owner in Italy. A member reached out to me today. According to his sources, BRP only purchased the IP and no physical assets. Although this would contradict the press release. The bottom line is we do not know who owns...

    BAD NEWS

Correct. If I heard it correctly, Alta owns the Acerbis molds. But if Alta owes them money, like they owe everyone else, then it won't matter. Either way, no worries. Nobody needs those molds but us, and Acerbis won't throw them away if we order parts in larger batches every once in a while.

    BAD NEWS

There are owners already in contact with Franco Acerbis. Accerbis has been waiting for the news about Alta Motors before committing to anything.

    Look at the bright side

So I will likely remain the only electric dirt bike racer at my local tracks for the foreseeable future -- about 5 years. The weird one, with an "unfair" advantage.

    BAD NEWS

Well, there is an SM in Classifieds for $6600. No need to smash anything.

Me too, and they do. No vehicle gets purchased and tested unless it is a direct competitor to some current or potential future product that already has a budget assigned to it.

If you want to buy a new Alta, feel free to call dealers or @AltaWest . They should probably be well under $10k now without support, warranty and a reliable supply of spare parts. @AltaWest will do the best they can to supply the parts, if/when we need them. We also have @Rashid510 to provide...
