I have spent longer watching YouTube than I am willing to admit. Did anyone get the point of this "custom" build" other than powder coating a few parts black?
Interesting. Are you saying that your left lever now has the same stiffness as the right?
I might try laying the bike on its side overnight, but I do not think that the bubbles would travel up by themselves over time. Or would they??
I also thought about making a Brembo master cylinder cover...
I used earlier model Rekluse brakes, and I currently have the DIY Brembo clutch setup. The rear brake always seems to be about 50% more spongy than the front.
I tried vacuum bleeding in the past, and the results were about the same as if I just bled it well without using vacuum.
I wonder what...
OOPS! I am sorry, I thought @TCMB371 was talking about the @Fog 25 shock. Those are the same.
The MX and MXR shocks are indeed different. The MXR shock is the latest WP shock, and the MX is the generation before that.
It's the same shock. The Tank just looks a little larger on the OD. The piston is 2mm larger. Not sure I would be able to tell the difference at my riding skill level.
I may need some Northeast trail riding tire education. I would like to know if I should consider buying special tires for this event that are different from the MXR stock Dunlop MX3S.
I am not familiar with enduro tires. Perhaps there are some that handle slippery rocks and roots better. What...
Clake replied to my question about the short insert:
"I believe what happened in this case was an early prototype of the Brembo insert somehow got into a batch before anodizing and was then sent out"
That's what I heard too. Alta is not done yet, but it is for sale. The bids have not been accepted or rejected. We were supposed to learn the fate of Alta exactly a month ago, but we are still waiting.
NICE!!!
Is this a Yamaha fender with a Husky front number plate?
Mark has a second set of WP Cone Valve forks?!! o_O:love: That was my first reaction. I didn't notice a Ferrari either, LOL!
If so, then why are you not happy with the stock damping? It seems to match the stock soft springs pretty well. The stock 4CS works way better than any other stock 4CS forks that I have tried.
