We hold everybody to much higher standards here on the Internet, LOL!
I thought of that get-up-and-go speediness in theory only. Didn't get a chance to test it in practice yet. I fell only twice this whole year -- both are low-speed tip overs in corners. The Redshift should get an IIHS Top...
Yes, they are the same. I just compared the shaped and the mounting points on my two bikes, and they are identical.
Also, Alta would not invest in new injection molds without a good reason, and AFAIK there has not been such a reason yet.
Myself and other 2017 Redshift owners are still waiting for Alta to come out with a "Buy one, get one half off" campaign.
But maybe you Scott could beat them to it?
Welcome to the Forum, stretch67!

According to Alta, the effect of the Regen braking on actually charging the bike is minimal. It is mostly to replicate the ICE engine feel, which riders need for its predictability and some added stability when entering turns.
Not according to my butt dyno. That table in Post #8 appears to be outdated. It does not agree with the table in Post #5, which seems outdated as well.
We need the latest and greatest official ride map description.
