No crashes here either. Just must be enough flex in the assembly that they work out. Rumor is Alta is aware those inserts don’t last and they have something else in mind, but that could be a long time till we see a revised part.

The battery issue you are experiencing is explained HERE. The coolant overflow issue is also normal, you can cap the overflow and that is explained here. Glad to hear you are enjoying that bike! They are definitely a step in the right direction!

On an MXR there is a unused 12V plug right behind the number plate. The issue then would be if the device would present enough load to not have the software cut it off. Of course I assume this plug is already used on the EX(R)'s, which is the bike that most people would want these options on...

I would guess most of these off road events would not be possible without a battery change, and since at this point only factory Alta has that ability that's why we didn't see any there. I would also assume that Alta is putting their efforts into Ty's upcoming race and didn't have the resources...
