I agree it doesn’t allow you to just let off and coast freely, and I can see that being somewhat detracting from a nice flowing trail ride. My observations so far are based on a track situation where now I can feather off the power to where the regen starts to take over and in many situations...

Nice. I think off the top of my head map 1 has a high level of regen on the MXR. I personally love the higher levels of regenerative braking, I think with some time it will prove to give you more control of overall speed with just throttle control.

I wouldn't say the MXR is any less manageable power wise than the MX, it's that you might find may not necessarily need the benefit of the MXR's extra power. I think the difference is better realized in a competition, if the suspension better suits your needs on the MXR, than I'd say the $1500...

I was referring to switching back and forth to a number plate, but I can appreciate what you are saying about having the ability to cut all the lights. That SlingFast/LED combo would be ideal for what I would want. Keep us posted on the details!

I just checked mine, it was obvious when I removed the fill plug that there was coolant in the system, but the level was not visible. I took a new pipe cleaner and gently stuck it down in a bit to see if the level was just out of sight and it didn’t appear to hit the top of the coolant level...

I will say mine doesn’t sound dry but it does sound a bit like it’s cavitating at when you first start it. I rode mine hard in mid 80’s ambient temps and no light came on, so hopefully there’s some in there! I’ll definitely be checking tonight.
