Installing Aftermarket SkidPlate will Void Warranty

I received this as well, and I thought it was Stark being overly concern about me because in an idle moment I sent Sam a suggestion to improve the skid plate by adding a lip that protects the motor. Which skidplate is better? I find the stock excellent, although motor must be protected for the...

    General Poll, response appreciated

Reading this a year later. What happened with the project? Do you still work with Stark? Is there going to be any type of traction control for the Varg in near future?

    BEST Replacement Side Stand KIT?

That's the only way we'll get this cool ejectable battery system and Formul1 pit stop times.

Power Modes: What do you use?

More or less I agree. Although, today I had a very difficult ride on steep (but nothing crazy) climb with loose rocks. There was no run up, and rear wheel wasn't gripping at all. I tried every mode and combination but nothing worked. I've never spun the rear wheel so much in my career. For...

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

@Erwin P, I thought of you today. I had a tip over on an uphill, and bike landed hard on a standing rock. It was an awkward angle, and if handguard didn't take the impact it would have smashed the throttle housing. It just grazed it by a hair. Odd how this was never an issue with gas bikes...

Power Modes: What do you use?

Share what Power Modes you use and in what scenarios or terrain type. What have you find that makes you go fastest, or have precise control or wastes or saves power etc. I'm trying to make sense of the Regen graph in Advanced Power Mode. On default setting it is a flat line at 100 (somethings)...

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

There's been mention of skid plates, so here's another product. https://hardenduro.store/products/skid-plate-stark-varg-enduro-cross-mx-2024-2025?variant=50900464599332 I don't like anything about it, especially the price.

    Stark Varg 3D files

Would it be possible to design an universal phone adapter that will work with different phones? There are so many phones, and they change yearly. I have an old Samsung S9+ that could serve, but hardly worth designing for this one unit.

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

Same here. It was on 2.6.0 yesterday, and today on 2.6.1 I played with the bike around 09:00, and couldn't access the power modes. Didn't think much of it at the time, but it's possible that's when it was updating.

In 2026 there will be an electric class in the World MX Championship

Good number to remember when thinking about fitness and endurance is: 20km/h That's the pace elite Marathoners can keep for 2h. And if the number alone isn't telling you much, just try reaching it on a treadmill, and you'll know it forever. ;)

The "lock bike" feature isn't reliable

So what version of the app do you have? (Long press on the icon - App info - Scroll to the bottom)

    EX Custom iOS/Android App

This discussion about quietly failing batteries and the legality of just looking at your own property deserves a broader audience. I expect some people are missing it in this specific topic, but probably not the Stark company. They should be pressured that using a third party app to...

    EX Custom iOS/Android App

Stark app/phone records even loading the bike in the van as a ride. No real need for that. Better to have some threshold of time/distance or a manual toggle to record it as a ride. Also, Stark app splits the actual ride into segments if the bike is turned off during it. It would be better if...

Maximizing Range for the Stark Varg

Varg speedo/distance is inaccurate [lower] by ≈5% compared to a GPS watch which I trust. This is for short rides of 20-30km.

    EX Custom iOS/Android App

Good result, Erwin. Now put it on 80hp and ride it like a rental. ;) @brongle , Can you get the HP and Regen values for specific (1-5) maps to show? My preference would be: as large as possible map number in the middle of the screen and to the side current HP and Regen. Battery SOC number...

Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

That is very unfortunate. I commiserate wholly. Especially as my bike is from the same batch, and I'm, in a manner of speaking, on an island without support and surrounded by taxes. My impression based on recent reports is that the good will from Stark company has ended. There will never again...

Multiple weeks Hard Enduro trip, what to bring?

@Erwin P Please tell us what was worth carrying on the bike/van/person and what was unnecessary or overkill. Do you still plan to get a generator for the Varg?

    General !!! WARNING !!!

Here's another fun fact: Varg's bow is so narrow (compared to a 2T) that you will roost your own feet to a noticeable level.
