New UK owner road legal gen 2

Since it sounds like a semi-serious crash, make sure that the throttle doesn't stick: the throttle tube may have been pushed inwards and its end may be rubbing against the end of the handlebar. (y) I think it's basically impossible to have fun with a dirtbike without ending up on the ground...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

    • The fact that it's rideable with an A1 licence in Europe is crazy! It means it can be ridden at 16 y.o.! Getting a driving licence in the EU - Your Europe • Here in Italy every year there are incentives for street legal EVs; I think that for that price the discount whould be 3.000 €. • The...

What's everyone doing with the Stark charger/stand?

Really Chaconne? That's what you say? Well, you won't get away with it: since you have written this and because of the fact that you are very suitable for the role, I will make you the protagonist of a joke. Take it with some irony and I bet you, too, will enjoy it :). This should end in...

What's everyone doing with the Stark charger/stand?

As a stand to charge the bike at home, I find it very good: when you want to charge, the charger is already down there and it's a stable stand. What I mean by this is the common old definition of stable: if you push the bike too much in one direction, it will tend to go back to center: If you...

How Do You Plan To Survive (Battery) the Winter?

Well, I don't think there will be any problems if you drain the coolant and leave the cooling system empty. Just put some label on the saddle or maybe a tag on the throttle so that you'll remember to fill the bike next spring. If there is no coolant when you turn on the bike I think that you...

Is there a list of Error Codes anywhere out there?

Personally I don't like the idea because compressed air pushes things into gaps. As I've written, I prefer to tilt the bike to both side so that the water will fall down and IMO if there is some specific spot that you want to dry it's better to suck the water with a syringe; it should work...

How Do You Plan To Survive (Battery) the Winter?

I know that this thread is about the battery and not the inverter and motor but I still think it's relevant: don't forget to make sure that the coolant used in the bike won't freeze at the temperature at which the bike will be stored.

Anyone making stronger motor covers yet? Cracked my stock one

It also looks black oxided and I'm afraid that such a surface treatment would be worn quickly even without accidents, because of the boot rubbing against the cover, especially if there is a foot operated rear brake.

Is there a list of Error Codes anywhere out there?

I've noticed that, too on the left side and I see that an effective way to improve the situation is to lean the bike to both sides after having washed it, so that it will drip with water faster and therefore dry faster. I also let it air dry but I use a cloth to speed up the drying process only...

    New VARG Software Update.

Sorry, I changed the settings of all the maps the first day I used my bike and I don't remember the original settings.

New genuine water pump kit for self bleed

Check this out: I honestly think that the bleeding procedure for the G1 was too messy and possibly time consuming; never tried, though. The taller fitting should significantly increase the hydrostatic pressure if you fill the radiator up to its top. Besides, there will always be an air gap in...

    Dust Moto

Well, the Varg has KYB suspensions well known for their performance; from what I can see in the specifications and pictures, the Hightail has: • Non split triple clamps vs split in the Varg. • ø43 mm fork vs 48: it means that probably the fork will flex more, binding the bushings more and...

€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

Well, it seems to me that a lot of people know what a Stark Varg is. Surely the brand is not as popular as Honda for example and especially if you aren't a motocross rider or at least a motocross fan you may not know about it.

€50 million investment in Stark Future by Royal Enfield parent company

    Varg suspension

In the mid valve shim stacks there are some shims having three dimensions, for example .10 X 20 X 8 .10 should mean 0.10 mm thick, 20 should mean Ø20 mm but what does the 8 mean? EDIT: I've just re-read the posts above and apparently the 8 is the inside diameter of the shims and it's specified...

Stark weird noise and no crawl/ reverse... Drive train not reacting to throttle inputs

I have thought about that problem, too. Maybe we can find a quick way to cover the opening before washing the bike, like some people cover the air filter of gas bikes.

Stark weird noise and no crawl/ reverse... Drive train not reacting to throttle inputs

Anyhow, even though I think it's unlikely to happen, if it starts behaving strangely and accelerates more than it's supposed to do given a certain throttle position, remember that pressing the power button on my gen 1 puts it back into neutral even if the throttle is open; I guess it should work...

Stark weird noise and no crawl/ reverse... Drive train not reacting to throttle inputs

Well, your bike has been sold as street legal with head lights, right? So one possibility is that who has installed those head lights has somehow affected the way in which stock powertrain works, possibly causing problems. If the headlight uses some 12V battery hidden somewhere that you recharge...
