    Advance modes for MX1.0

I kind of expect low level of experimentation once folks get used to using the throttle and hp/torque characteristics of the Stark with most of the basic mode settings. For example, at least for me, many of the things I thought I would need a clutch for --or simulation for a clutch-- I don't...

    Advance modes for MX1.0

That sounds like a serious firmware bug rather than an actual mode setting and should be reported. If the firmware has a bug like that it could be very dangerous. Do you have an EX or MX?

    General Hypocrisy... perhaps, sort of.

Yes it is not for everybody that is for sure. My gas bikes are across the country now and I don't use them very often but I still like them. The Varg works for me with the kind of riding I do now mostly the slow gnarl and enduro.

    Stark varg brake fluid

I am not against fluid changes or flushes and I have been driving for over 50 years without an accident and you would probably rather see me on your streets than many others. I make sure my cars are well maintained and I do my own work or have them serviced by mechanics I know and trust. 300k...

    Stark varg brake fluid

Read the post the context was clear. I was responding to abnormal wrenches post which was clearly quoted. And I was not quoting you or deliberately referring to anything you said. If you don't like the conversation don't read it. If you want to be topic police please do so in your own conversations.

    Stark varg brake fluid

Context??? It wasn't a comparison i.e. no apples no oranges. Read the last sentence in the post that was quoted (you know the one about CAR CUSTOMERS...).

    Stark varg brake fluid

Hahaha my 2015 Honda Civic with over 200,000 miles has never had a brake flush and I owned it since new. And it has never had a clutch either. Only 2 parts have been replaced ever (besides normal wear stuff). 1 water pump at around 150k and 1 AC compressor at 180k. I have given thought to...

    Stark Varg sidestand bracket

Agreed. It is the Microsoft model. I asked the company who I bought the AXP through if they could do an exchange for the Molecule or some other products and they said no, which struck me as odd. The recall seems to be following a specific track, they didn't say it but it seems like a legal thing...

Nice. Did you get a recall on the Molecule bash plate? I got a recall today on the AXP I guess Stark didn't approve the fasteners. The Molecule looks just as protective.

    Dodgy settings/attempted hack?

My hunch is whoever was looking at your "version" didn't know what they were looking at. As long as your bike is working fine and you see 1.2.8 and that is current you should be good. I wouldn't mess with firmware anymore if I were you until a general update for everyone comes out. Or the CS...

    Truth or Rumor?

Given the current climate in the US if there is a plan for a plant in Mexico the longer term target market would likely be Central and South America where there is a long tradition of motorcycle culture. Rather than the US. China, India, and the developing world are the large markets for E. Once...

    Dodgy settings/attempted hack?

This☝️ BTW they may have "pushed" a firmware update and they are looking at the stored area and see 0.0.0. But your bike wouldn't be able to use that.

    Dodgy settings/attempted hack?

Usually there are two copies of firmware (I am assuming you are talking about the bike firmware). One which is loaded and one (or more) that is saved. Typically a saved copy is updated. So your bike should always work. If there is something wrong with the phone and it is not getting the right...

    Stark Varg SM

Agreed. I still think they could improve their margins by outsourcing more but that would probably imperil some of the Euro advantages they are likely afforded. Europe is a strong advantage for Stark --motorcycle culture plus wealth & advocacy. But they will need more to grow. The trick for...

    Stark Varg SM

The Triumphs made in Thailand have much higher margins for Triumph. It is the Nike trick, say a $200.00 running shoe made in the US costs Nike $50.00 to make in the US or Mexico, and they can outsource it to China or Vietnam and have the same shoe made for $5.00 and still charge $200.00...

    Stark Varg SM

It is hard to see from the visuals. Sourcing can often cover cost reductions and quality tradeoffs. But I think you are right something does not add up.

Probably losing some with wind resistance at that speed. Certainly making enough mic noise. Some road style plastics and a wind cutting front might help. I was thinking they were going to change to more road style aerodynamic positioning with the SM. I guess this is somewhat typical of dual...

Coolant recommendations for Varg MX 1.0. G1 to G2 cooling conversion kit

Coolants are more witchcraft than oil.You should be fine with a pink coolant that meets European/Asian automotive standards.

Installing Aftermarket SkidPlate will Void Warranty

One thing to also consider besides the added protection, is if you ride in hot weather and the advantage of the AXP and other non-stock plates for cooling. This past summer (from late June to mid Sept) I rode on multiple days that were 85F/30C or more --this is not uncommon in New England USA...
