load / resistance spec for aux / 12v circuit

The open circuit created by the switch may be triggering the breaker. It would require a key cycle to reset. If you could make the circuit continue doing work, maybe across a resistance similar to the light, it may work. I've never tried it.

    Overheat warning

Getting a thermal warning at 75mph on the highway is actually most likely the motor itself overheating, not the battery, especially with an R pack. The motor is cooled by the liquid cooling system.

    Alta Error Codes

Yes. Is there a code displayed? Most codes that latch the service light will simply return if you reset the light.

    Rear Subframe failure

The RBH is the aluminum casting that contains the motor, inverter, and gearbox (and the tabs for the rear brake that break when you crash it). The plastic part is the subframe.

    Switch to kill headlight/taillights

It might be a problem, but it will reset with a key cycle.

    spare throttle assembly

First of all, the 80 degree throttle is not very good for a dirt bike. Lots of regripping, simply too much rotation. It was tested early on but proved to be hard to use. I'm not sure about the response the inverter will have to a different throttle config. Haven't tried it. Therefore I can't...

    Switch to kill headlight/taillights

A splice done correctly should not change the inrush current significantly, so that shouldn't be an issue. As for altering the circuit if the switch triggers a circuit break, there are inrush current limiters (ICL) available commercially or you can make the circuit yourself. Do a bit of...

    spare throttle assembly

Just changing the stop would mean the range of voltage would change and you would not have 100% throttle. It does not use a pot, It has two Hall effect sensors in it. The firmware provides for correct behavior. If you were to buy one, you would need to specify that it was for the Alta.

    spare throttle assembly

It's a custom throttle made by Hirschmann for Alta. Rotation is -10/65, not -10/80, which is default.

    Switch to kill headlight/taillights

The lighting circuit is powered directly from the ACM. The large connector on the RH side of the ACM, as it sits in the bike, powers all of the lights. I have never tried to put a switch on the circuit, but if you do a little testing, you should be able to determine which wires are 12v +/-...

    Code 36 service required???

Yes, but it is difficult. It was on the list of nags before the end. Sometimes a mirror helps.

    Coolant flush

Some suggestions - use a syringe, like those used for adding fork oil (Motion Pro) for adding the coolant. Turn on the key and let the pump run while you fill. The system will run and purge air as you go. Wait a few seconds as you add and get close to the top for the coolant level to drop. Do...

Does “https://shop.altamotors.co“ still fulfill online orders?

I believe the Alta store is a separate entity at a remote location from the crew shipping hard parts. At least it used to be...

    Battery level - stupid question

It's a very special lithium, don't replace it with something else or you will probably find yourself stranded. You can find it at Lowe's.

    Battery level - stupid question

The 'extra' 9v provides voltage to start the BCU. Without it, no drive.

    Battery level - stupid question

There is some estimation/prediction going on with the SOC. Did you key cycle? Sometimes this provides more accuracy.
