So what? Apples and oranges. My 2013 Korean car has 220 miles and never a brake flush but I don't ask for it the same as my bikes. Let's move on.

All this KTM and market future stuff is great but what about the side stand kit issue?

Probably, but if you're a brake dragger, race Super Moto or otherwise are extra heavy on the brakes the fluid suffers, requiring more frequent changes.

Don't over think it. Go with a good quality fluid like Motul 660 but more important, change/flush it with new every 6 months or more often under extremes conditions.

Nothing really new to see here but I think Stark is trying desperately to get as much market share, name recognition and dominance of the premium E bike market as fast as they can before other major manufactures get involved. I don't know in what aspects a competitor would improve on the Stark...

Honda could build and release a competitive production E-bike to the Stark anytime they want. They just don't want to...yet. But when they do MXA will be the first to test it! :)

Sounds like you covered the all the bases. Have you called Stark? It wouldn't be the first time a issues occurred with the cooling system.

Unfortunately I'm working with Stark to get a RAN (Return Authorization Number) to return the kit.

I could tolerate the mods needed but the old style bracket that came with the kit is is a deal breaker for me and Stark is using up NOS before going 100% with the new updated bracket.

The OEM Side Stand kit Stark sent has the old style bracket so I'm sending it back. What's out there for replacement kits Ali or others? I don't need/want auto return.

I think Stark is just using up old stock and replacing broken brackets with the updated version. I've been bugging SAM about it but to no avail. I just sent a email to Stark requesting the upgraded side stand bracket. We'll see what happens.
