my other option was to have the charging done off board via alta charger, luckily they found me a onboard charger, good luck, this forum seems to be all about the stark Varg and people selling their Altas to get a Varg. someone helpful will find you.

OK...here's my take on it. a manual clutch would be simple to add from a design viewpoint, just put it in a jackshaft. how about left foot actuated clutch? it's got nothing to do anyway. as far as needing a clutch, the first time I dirt rode my alta I dug a hole and got stuck on the first steep...

I am not going for the Varg. my Alta mx is a better bike than I am a rider, but I did just purchase a 2022 zero SR, cool bike...no upgrades yet still getting familiar with it.

someday batteries will be like propane tanks for bbq grills...drop off the old, ride off with a new. I can swap a surrons battery in less than a minute. it will happen, there just aren't enough bikes to standardize batteries...YET!!

that's like surron's system except bigger. but that may raise the center of gravity a bit more than Alta's battery placement

ok then how about a real long extension cord? only for closed course, but be careful passing!!

is it possible to carry a spare battery in a back pack with extension cables...just thinking out loud. I know there are battery life extenders for the surron.
