Tucker just posted a great video comparing the three Sur Ron bikes.

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

You sure it got pushed out recently? They pushed out the orders sometime around October 2022, and before that around August 2022. My latest delivery date of November 30, 2023 (to the PacNW) has been the same since around Oct. 2022. From my notes: Order date December 17, 2021, original...

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

We really need a betting pool along the lines of the NCAA's, Lol. My money is on customer #1 here getting his bike in March, followed by dealers and other customer bikes the rest of 2023. And mine is delivered earlier then my current expected delivery date of Nov. 2023. Meanwhile I'm an...

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

That is the worst written, least enthusiastic announcement of production starting on what could arguably be one of the most anticipated dirt bikes ever. At least I think it says production is starting next week. Hard to tell exactly. You would think they would have wanted to really nail such an...

    Stock wheel spacers front

My gold wedding band disappeared into the ether last year when I was changing the rear tire/tube on my Husky. Didn't realize it until I had completed the task and was washing up in the kitchen sink. I thought for sure it was in the scary garbage disposal grinder finger eater thing in the sink...

    Varg spring rates ?

I am with you on that kangaroo thing, Lol.

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Tucker did a range test on the prototype Ultra Bee, very interesting, about in line with my MXR. He runs the battery down to about 10% SOC where the power is cut significantly. Summary: ~19 miles mx track. ~26 miles single track. ~46 miles milking it on flat gravel road.

    General Varg Beater

I have never felt that the lack of reciprocating mass is a negative on my Alta MXR, quite the contrary. For reference, I'm an older, casual trail rider, mainly single track, some of it pretty gnarly. Have owned and ridden a bunch of very nicely setup dirt bikes over the years, everything from...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

I think its going to be a confusing mess of contradictory regulations put in place at the local, national (USA), and international level, until the battery/controller/weight technology improves to the point where it makes no sense to be riding anything but an e-dirt bike if you want to be...

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Summary: he really likes it. Wants to try some suspension and wheel/tire tweaks. I can't wait to get mine and see what its all about on the trails.

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

I've been wringing my hands for over a year now trying to decide if I should buy a Light Bee and mod it up ($$$). Held out mainly due to my height, at 6'5" just didn't think it would work too well. Then the Talaria Sting came out, and same thing, major hand wringing. Just when I was about to...

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

I think you will find the Ultra Bee not suitable for your type of riding. I consider it a play bike more then a full on dirt bike. I think the Stark Varg would suit you better. As B. Frank mentioned, I think you will find the Ultra Bee not as capable as your Honda or really any typical full on...

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Charged Cycles is saying the Ultra Bee will have vin #'s and MSO's and should be able to be titled in the USA. Ermagerd! ERMAGERD!!! I hope this is true. We will see. Check out the video from Charged, around the 4:00 min mark he starts talking about it.

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Good to know about the Light Bee vin. And no bubbles burst, no worries, Lol.

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Yes, I think the pic is just a generic pic from Sur Ron. I'm expecting the bike to look just like that except it will not have blinkers. The internet chatter is that Sur Ron has not gone through the process to sell a street legal version of the Ultra Bee in the USA (EPA certification + whatever...

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

An enthusiastic overview of the Ultra Bee from Electric Trail Rider (Ka Uila Motors) with some speculation since its not a "hands on" review/test: Some things he notes: 19" wheels front/back. May or may not be room for a 18" + wider rear tire within the swingarm. Controller is in a vulnerable...

    Sur Ron Ultra Bee

Hey all, I just put down a deposit for an Ultra Bee with Charged Cycle Works in Utah (USA). Very excited to see what this "in between" bike is all about. I will report back more when I receive the bike. More info here: Charged Cycle Works Sur Ron Ultra Bee Pre-Order Price: $6,499 USD (+...

    Stark 'demo'

Thanks for the great report. But, Wow. I can't believe what I'm reading about the dealers getting the bikes first. What was the point of everyone putting down their $100 deposits? What is the benefit of putting down a deposit if I can just stop by my local dealer and buy a Stark there, and get...

Stark Varg at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week!

How did it look? Overall quality looks good?

Stark Varg at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week!

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure its not since none of the dealers that have had it have put anything on social media about riding it. I know if I worked at a dealership and if we had it at our shop and if it was operational, I would be riding it somehow. (world record for most...
