    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

@Beagle E&Co are already going down the complete bike route with the RTR. If they are clever, and create a 3/4 then a full size as these kids grow out, then they have a loyal customer base. Once you get used to an eco system, it very difficult to justify changing... that why I've never had an...

    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

I understand what your saying, and appreciate your point, but it really is about about looks and spec for 99.9% of customers. I didn't buy my EX because it was electric, I bought it because of 80hp and it being an incredibly good looking enduro, that had quality parts. Most OEMs will struggle...

    Honda WN7 (Wind Naked, Fun)

Aside from the disappointing specs, it's not exactly a looker is it.

    BBM Hiro

These BBMs look interesting. Also, there must be something in the water here, as they are also a Spanish company (Bilbao). I'm a fan of the overall looks (probably because they started with building customs) and the fact that they don't "look" electric (huge reason I went for the EX).

    Yamaha YE-01

That might come later (bloody well NEEDS to). From what I can see, everything from the motor, clutch and battery has been lifted straight from the XR+

    Yamaha YE-01

This seems to be an Escape XR+ with Yamaha aesthetics. As everything confirmed is identical... So, a "whopping" 11kw and 3.8kwh battery.

    General Electric Motorcycle Manufacturers Worldwide

This seems a bit made up on the spot... as missing: Talaria, eride pro etc "Surron" type bikes. RE will be added to that list next as they unveiled the production Flying Flea at EICMA. Bultaco is not an emoto brand, they tried their hand at an eMTB... while the company floundered yet again. I...

    Stark Varg SM

    That made me chuckle!

    Stark Varg SM

Yes. If you check out the SM build vid you can see the axle steps up a couple of times and has threaded end. The EX only has one step for the fork.

    Stark Varg SM

I'd assume that the hub is the same, but the SM will have different (smaller ID) bearings to accommodate the different axle. You could retro fit EX bearings... but for the cost, you'd be better off just going with a third party like Haan.

    Stark Varg SM

That's due to manufacturer. Each company will measure tyres a certain way, rim mounted to, shoulder etc. For example, many years ago I had r888s on one of my cars. 205/50/15. Had scrubbing when I didn't previously. Did some measuring and it turned out Toyos idea of 205 was actually 220...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

Re: Warranty. I need to look into this further... but it seems that for bikes sold in Spain, the warranty starts from first registration and legally has to be for 3 years (as of road vehicles sold since 2022).

Fingers crossed he gets it right this time!

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

If you ever find yourself on the mainland, I can take you on some truly amazing trails! You can pick between: Flat out speed, flowing, tight technical or "Am I going to survive" routes. Also, what is that tax rate!!! Some of my wife's cousins live on/from Tenerife and in conversation said tax...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

Sooo Stark have so far: Suggested cell imbalance. Sent a power train - fixing the charging issue but creating a new one. Sending more parts (unknown currently). This reminds me of a back yard mechanic who just throws parts at a car until it's fixed. (Also, Tenerifes local dealer should be...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

Why the motor needed changing for a battery that couldn't charge to 100% is confusing to begin with, why that worked... more so. Most obvious would be the motor is duff, as that's the only thing changed. But I'd go through the wiring first to see everything he's done is correct and secure...

Alternative License Plate Mounting Ideas for the EX.

I just used the "spare" bolts that came with the bike to adjust the angle.

It's a shift lock. Used to help when in a wheelie

    Stark Varg SM

Agreed, not a fan. I have the same style on my Fantic Sumo and as the treads are quite course (comparatively) I've found water/muck to get in which make it a real PITA to get the wheel off.

    Dodgy settings/attempted hack?

Don't use the English, we're actually not very good at relaxing either... Use the Spanish: relajarse. When a Spaniard yells you to relax, THEY MEAN IT!
