Change display from Celsius to Fahrenheit

It doesn't exist. They will probably add that feature in the next 5 to 10 years. They are unbelievably slow at updating the app IMO. They still haven't fixed whatever is wrong with the mileage reading. My odometer has been off for months

    LHRB kinda weak/soft

My rear brake locks up easily with 1 finger. As already said, the blead procedure is crucial. These are Brembo brakes with sintered brake pads - they are plenty grabby if there is no air in the system.

Brake levers go to the bar after sitting

I started the warranty ticket with Stark and after the usual long drawn out back and forth - sending videos, sending pics....they seem well aware of the issue and it was sounding like they were going to do something, but I get the impression someone higher up decided my case was too unusual to...

Stark Varg SM enough range for my use?

Agreed. The 390 is a great bike, overall. Really hard to beat the price

Stark Varg SM enough range for my use?

I have used my Varg EX with street tires to attempt to commute to my girlfriends house 34 mile away on the freeway (no real elevation change overall). For whatever reason, the Varg is really really bad on the freeway, as far as efficiency goes. I can barely make it to her house going slow on the...

Owner's Review Range test Stark Varg EX on Dutch Enduro

My summer riding was 40-45 miles, which is pretty similar range to temp ratio for my Zero dirt bike. My summer temps rarely get over 90 degrees F

Owner's Review Range test Stark Varg EX on Dutch Enduro

I'm sure there are many people who own Stark Varg EX's in colder climates than me, but I do ride year around and was curious what the range would be below freezing temps. Yesterday it was the first ride I went on that was below freezing, 30 degrees F or -1 degrees C. I didn't ride it to zero...

Brake levers go to the bar after sitting

Went riding yesterday and had no front brakes at all. The brakes were fine when I loaded the bike the night before. I almost crashed thanks to it, when I was going down a steep hill and another rider came around the corner. I started a ticket with Stark and sent them a video. I guess we'll see...

Brake levers go to the bar after sitting

My rear brake was a little soft for the first pull when I went to go riding Sunday - I've ridden it maybe 6 times since I replaced the brake pads and bled the master. So it seems to be a continuing problem for me also.

    Stark Varg brake pads

In 1400 miles, I somehow wore out my front and rear brakes - I tend to use my brakes a decent amount while trail riding. I knew there were KTM bikes that used the same brake pads, but wasn't having much luck on getting confirmation on what to order. I ordered these brake pads from Amazon and...

Intermittent no start - LED doing weird stuff (found problem)

I received the new phone holder and installed it. As I expected, that fixed everything. I took her out for a thorough beating today, and I sure missed her! My backup bike these days is a KTM Freeride, which isn't a bad bike, but it is not comparable to the Varg. I made it through the whole ride...

    LHRB install difficulty?

When you plug in the non-integrated signals/lights, the integrated lights stop working by design. The rear integrated lights are very dim, it can be hard to even see the turn signals in that little light piece, and the brake light is barely brighter than the running light. The brake micro...

Intermittent no start - LED doing weird stuff (found problem)

You don't happen to have a wiring diagram, do you? I tried to find one but had no luck.

Intermittent no start - LED doing weird stuff (found problem)

Yah, my last problem was the bike wouldn't charge. They sent me a new charger, but by the time it got here, the bike decided to start charging again. I think that one was just a software glitch - never had another problem with it. But it can't be cheap shipping all that stuff back and forth

Intermittent no start - LED doing weird stuff (found problem)

My EX has been down for going on 5 weeks now. I rode it on a Friday, had no problems. Charged it the next day and went to go load it to go riding again and the bike would not turn on. I could hear the contacts close and the water pump would turn on, but the LED was off. The dash would come on...

Brake levers go to the bar after sitting

Haven't been riding the bike much lately because of a weird computer problem, which I'll probably post about soon. But either way, went to move the bike this morning and had no rear brake at all and my usual trick to get it working again wasn't working. I was needing to do brake pads anyway, so...

Maximizing Range for the Stark Varg

I was a bit suspicious the premise of this thread was questionable - that higher gearing on an electric motor would lead to higher efficiency. That makes perfect sense on a gas engine, because more load = higher efficiency on a gas engine. That isn't how electric motors tend to work. I haven't...

Varg EX liability insurance coverage for licensing

I don't blame people for doubting me, but here is a screen shot - this is for a year of insurance. 50 y/o, clean record. I said $35, but forgot that was for 9 months when I originally started the insurance.

Brake levers go to the bar after sitting

I don't think there is air in the system, because if that were the case, pushing the caliper pistons in wouldn't do anything - that wouldn't get rid of the air in the system. I think the problem has to do with the brake pads. Something like mud is getting behind the pads, causing them to not...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

Glad to see Stark is making things right. Many many companies wouldn't have made this much effort for your situation. Most likely the shop messed up your bike, and that is an unfortunate aspect to their dealership model - there is very little incentive for good shops to support their product...
