Stark Varg brake pads

I noticed that the Stark site is only carrying the rear Galfer pads. They have no option now for front pads at all. Having a fair amount of experience with LHRBs on various bikes through the years I can confidently say that the Toyo/Brembo compound is a must. You can typically find these on RMATV or Slavens and they hover around $66-78. The OEM front pads for the brembo calipers I don't think are the same Toyo compound as the rear but no question the OEM is the best. They out last and out grab anything I have tried. However I have not tried the Galfer pads. Has anyone tried these and if so can you say with certainty they are nearly as good as the Toyo? I think if you use a foot brake it doesn't matter as much. I would put EBC at the very bottom of the list, then ktm after market(power parts), then Toyo/Oem at the top. It's a little odd that Stark doesn't have a part available for the fronts though.

Yes, I just noticed the same thing. I was trying to find the shape of the front pads so I could order some that work well for both my MX and my SM wheels. Chat GTP says FD225, but I cant seem to find the pads i'm after so looked on the stark website and yes, no front pads listed. I guess i'll just have to go and look on the bike itself.

I have 102 hours on my bike and somehow the brakes still have over half left on them and work perfectly. That in itself is a testament as to how good the toyo/brembos are. Maybe also a testament as to how slow of a rider I am. :) I have yet to order new pads but I would order the ones from the ktm 18-25 bikes. I just checked the pads from my 2021 300 XCW and the part # is the same as in your pic except the 4 number code is 0203/0207. Pretty sure the top code (BRM11EHH) is the compound and the lower 07.8617.51 is teh backing code. I just don't know what the 4# code is. Date? Either way they seem to be sold out on these for some time so if you find them buy them!

Do you have the hand brake to confirm if these stop as well as the stock brembo pads? Hard to belive but maybe worth a shot given the shortage. Referring to the amazon ones. Thanks.
