True, i do on my 2 stroke as well. But that's less of an issue with the Stark for example. But the most usefull thing, storing energy in the flywheel and letting that roll you over an obstacle with throttle closed, you don't get with an E clutch.

Aren't there cheap ones in multiple positions? I often use cheap inferior stuff from Aliexpress to test. Sometimes the stuff ends up being not so inferior wich is a big bonus!

The Arctic Leopard i tested had the same thing. Didn't do hard Enduro on it, but i could see it's usefullness to avoid whiskey throttle. Although it sucks in clutch dropping since you don't have a flywheel to carry you up obstacles.

Then you would need to assume that 1 row of the 120mm would do the same amount of power as 2 of 70mm. If so that could mean a narrower battery pack. If not, nobody is gonna want a Varg that can get less far than the old one. I would suspect they want the same width since they can keep the same...

That could be an option, but would leave you with open space within the frame. Would be a nice spot for an onboard charger or toolkit 😜

As i sidenote i must add that i've had far greater succes with customer support than seems to be the standard. I think that's due to me having experience communicating technical issues. As a Proces Operator in a large high-end production enviroment you learn to describe problems in other ways...

I don't think that those new cells in the announced length will be in the Varg. It will end up much wider wich is an issue for a dirtbike. Or will end up much narrower. I could see the same chemistry and aluminium caps on the current cell size though. It will have the drawback for them of...

That's the good thing about Starks. You can switch between regen maps. Long downhills in the mountains can take 100% regen while you go back to something like 40% on flat. Not that it matters in my home country. But in places in France and Spain i've seen some nice added ''free'' energy coming...

This looks like a countershaft axle that went out of allignent pushing the rotor out of allignment and thus shorting the whole thing. Would also explain locking up the rear tyre as he described and the short explosion.

The best thing you can do is add a massive windscreen. I have seen significant range gains on my Zero DS even with a small windscreen. A E Motorcycle shop has seen E bikes with windscreen getting way more range than naked bikes. Hell even the way taller Experia go better range than it's naked...

True, i did as well, but in SM i really like the front wheel to be dead centre. 1mm off is very destabilising in those corners.

I've seen better ranges at freezing than at warmer weather. Probably due to the ground being harder.
