Help Needed removing the front sprocket

I've removed the bolt in this way: The bolt looks like an M14 X 1.5 steel bolt, maybe heat treated, whose thread has at least 8 coils. Therefore, it's quite likely that something like this can withstand 80 Nm and that it can even withstand more than that during loosening while some torque is...

    CR-E “250” Project

If it’s a clutch MC, make sure that you can use DOT brake fluid and that it’s not designed for mineral oil instead. Very neat, cool looking bike BTW.

Help Needed removing the front sprocket

As per Stark’s power unit replacement video, the front sprocket bolt, during reassembly, should be tightened at 80 Nm: it sounds like much. I haven’t found other sources of information about it in their manuals or guides. Have you really tightened it so much?

Stark VARG PDF tutorial library from the official Stark videos

Thank you for these. One important question @madkuku: those tutorials are AI generated and I completely understand it because I would have used AI, too, in your shoes, but has any human checked that they are mistakes free? For example, take this as constructive criticism, but in your pull rod...

Help Needed removing the front sprocket

I’m planning to clean the old thread locker and use new medium strength thread locker just to be safe. I check that the fasteners are tight, on a regular basis, anyways. Thanks to everybody for the answers so far (I haven’t done the job yet because I’m still waiting for the parts).

Help Needed removing the front sprocket

I'm going to remove the front sprocket to replace it and I'm afraid it won't be a dull job like it could seem. The front sprockets I have dealt with so far either had a nut and a locking washer with tabs or a circlip. Apparently, the Varg has a KTM style bolt with threadlocker and I've read...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

Well, usually Husqvarnas are premium KTMs, so, according to this logic, it may make sense that the Pioneer has the onboard charger.

    2025 KTM Freeride E

I like the fact that the frame is purpose-built for the electric battery and powertrain, that contribute structurally. I haven't understood whether that charger is an onboard charger and if its weight is included in the 112 kg. Here in paragraph 3 they say that the battery is IP67 rated: I...

Stark varg support is the worst

That's true and now that I read your comment it also occurs to me that with (almost) no load the probability to have shavings in the oil decreases, too.

Stark varg support is the worst

If someone wants to do that, I suggest blowing some air with a powerful fan on the bike and not doing it if the environmental temparture is high because of the risk of overheating.

    Rear suspension play

Exactly. The reverse thread locknut has part number SMX1-SR-S-02 and it's listed in the spare parts of all the four Varg models MX 1.0, MX 1.2, EX and SM. @HITNRUN: I suggest that if you really can't remove that nut you should contact Stark Future because, like @drehwurm68's written, it is...

    Rear suspension play

That's not a captive nut: it's a reverse thread locknut. These guys struggled for a while before realizing it; watch @3:53: I suggest that you follow these steps in the reassembly: my post in another thread Someone else has reported that wear on the swingarm; I have some minor marks.

    Rear suspension play

Don't forget to check the upper shock spherical bearing. You could disassemble everything and, first of all, test each bushing in its bearing. The pullrod to rocker arm bushing and the rockerarm to swingarm bushing should have the same outer diameter since their bearings have the same part...

Alta throttle - all there is to know

At 7:15 you can notice the Hirschmann logo on the apparently ride-by-wire type throttle of a sportsbike whose engine develops 228 or 247 hp, depending on the configuration.

Problem: swollen sealing ring in the control switch connector

I agree: that's why I recommend wrapping tape past that point (not that I've tried). Good for you! Of course you can keep the old wiring harness as a spare part for when the warranty will have expired.

Problem: swollen sealing ring in the control switch connector

I didn't understand how it happens because I took it for granted that the seal ring stayed on the side, but it makes sense that it ends up between the faces with the pins because it protrudes from the side and then it hinders the pins action. Maybe a simpler solution -if the bike is not under...

Problem: swollen sealing ring in the control switch connector

Unless you cleaned the connector before taking the pictures, I doubt that the little dirt I see has caused problems. Maybe water. One thing to consider is that this connector, unlike the other two, has the female socket below the male plug and therefore anything small that is pushed down by...

    Stark Battery Tech Thread

Provided the battery inside that bike is indeed one with the specified energy density, lifespan, etc. and that the images of charger screen have not been modified -I'm not saying it has been or not; I can't know- , this looks impressive:
