I am looking forward to this as well, I have found 40-45hp good in the woods. It is possible to make the 80hp setting usable though with "power curve/flywheel" adjustments, this would be of great benefit for flat track racing, it's too easy to lose traction as it is at 80hp.

Other known issues: The standard tubes are usless, change the straight away. The oil drain bolt is a t27 head, the supplied t25 will strip the head and require drilling or vice grips to remove it. Buy a t27 torx bit before you undo it.

I ordered with the foot brake and added the hand brake so I have both, I rarely use the hand brake but it is handy when going through deep ruts, especially on downhills. Probably be good if you get stuck on a hill as well...

The 75-90w oil is extremely heavy and has a lot of drag, will running 10-40w do any harm?

6hr ride time definitely is not happening then, I was hoping for 70klm of trailriding at a fast pace, but that seems unlikely also.

It is the cheapest 20hp anyone will ever buy, so if you dont need it I dont see it as a big loss. I know a lot of people that have paid $1000+ for an exhaust that might give them an extra 1hp they don't need, I never have, but I did order the 80hp Stark.

I'll be replacing that chain for the tall gearing and putting a joining link in the standard chain.

Thanks, I get mine in January apparently, I will be putting a 14/40 on it not long after that to see if I can get 190kph for an event later in the year.

What top speed did you pull with the 14/45 gearing?

Thanks for the pics, I get mine very soon, I am thinking I will change the oil as soon as it is warm. Have you pulled the swingarm pivot by any chance? Just wondering if this should be done too. I had found KTMs swingarm pivots are not well lubed from new, and heard of a few that seized in place.

This could work for me, how slow is 30hp? Will it sit on 60kph at 30hp?
