VargPilot - Full HUD/Telemetry, logging, etc. Full replacement for the Varg app.

Does it work on any phone or does it need to be on the Stark phone?

One of the big reasons is that every car/motorcycle/quad/etc needs to be 3rd party insured. So that if you hit someone you aren't financially dead and the other party will be compensated anyways. To be insured it will need a licence plate. Europe is more protecting people from themselves (for...

Well your market is plenty big enough. Nearly all brands sell their bikes over there as well so there is demand. You have plenty of resources and pretty cheap labour as well. I agree that the ''ever more and higher'' and the ''right now'' is probably part of what makes it so hard so build good...

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

They are however comming with a smaller battery (same packing size) with less kWh and i believe 13kg lighter. Would have to look at their website for that.

Very true as well. With us it's much easier to see cost spiral out of control for example. Here is was just looking at the problem regarding American attempts at building and selling bikes ;) In all of Europe incluiding Germany you can very much have an electric bike with throttle and pedals...

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

Different claims i suppose. They are testing in the Netherlands and out here it's just one big sandpit. In the end all elektric motors kinda are as efficient as any. So battery size translates into range.

It will be street legal and those chargers are meant to be carried on-board is what they told me.

Let me put it differently. There is no simple way for a privateer to charge it outside the bike.

I am indeed. But it's a sad pattern we see. In the past years in all kind of branches we've seen American investment companies taking over businesses, stripping them for parts and letting them die. Also we had a hype of American'ism here in Europe. Part of that was companies adapting to very...

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

They have a charge point like the Stark so you can just charge it like a Stark. But having an easy option to charge outside the bike is offcourse great. I have been doubting to do the Romaniacs but for that i would need multiple battery's. Wich i need a team for to swap, and do that all again...

I think the problem was American corporate culture. It's a lott about here and now. While building new motorcycle brands is a lott about long term. Stark has Swedish leadership culture wich is a lott more long term. HD is swinging around their strategies more often than anyone else and it's...

    Stark Varg (6kWh) - 5 Hour Pony Express Strategy & 3kW Genny?

What is the terrain like? On the 1.0 i could often pull 1 hour 45 minutes in sand Crosscountry races. Especially when yours is hardpack you should be able to do it easy. You're not really fast charging, the bike will take it and at 45 hp not really loose power. Especially when the riding is...

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

They sell an extra set of batterys incluiding charging station for €3450 wich is a tad cheaper than Stark's 1.2/EX battery. To be honest i forgot what they told me about warranty, @Tim - Radian this is your cue to step in. I wonder in what shape the bike would be after 2000 hours. Not that i'm...

That's indeed true. But so close to production i think that ship has sailed. Edit: But hey even with things going pretty bad at team HD the sums om money they can play with are enormous compared to what a startup can dream of. Might be just the injection they need and just bring the numbers...

Why should Alta info matter a decade later? I think Alta info was one of the reasons Livewire fails. They try to sell 2010's tech for 2020's prices. Probably just buying one Stark and look into the software will be worth 100x more than the whole Alta archieve. Not to downplay Alta they were...

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

Regardless. They now weigh 22kg each. Imagine that would be 42kg for one. Now lift that on top of the bike. Also when building and maintaining the thing. 25kg is the max people are allowed to carry for their job in most EU countries. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Radian: The Future of Enduro is coming!

The bike is a bit ''fatter'' than a Stark. In both a bit more weight as in the panels. However the battery swap system is really clever. You don't need to lift it all the way out so you will just lift it when it's on top of the bike. Also they left a lott of room under the seat where normally...
