The Varg MX one is a direct fit - you just unplug the headlight and put the MX one on. That's what I'm running on my EX. Michael

The blue LED is the key for successful charging. There can be situations when the bike behaves like it is charging but the LED is yellow which means there is something wrong. Might be a problem with an extension cable or you wall plug so that the charger will not work. Michael

Yes, unfortunately we don't have the NACS connector here in Europe - it is basically all CCS including the European Teslas. Michael

While an automotive DC charger would be a natural choice, the connectors on those are pretty big already. So even if you figure out the CAN part, the adapter and cable would still be quite bulky as I don't think you could take a lot of short cuts with the voltage and amperage involved. Michael

There is a CAN communication protocol documentation for the aftermarket EVPT chargers available, but unless someone actually logs the CAN communication on the stark itself it still is not clear. The build specification of the Varg charger is C1000 which is not listed in the EVPT docs so it...

In Europe the footbrake is no requirement thus the bikes just come with the hand brakes. If you want a foot brake here it costs extra. Michael

Over here it is just a formality once you got the CoC (which I have). No inspection of the bike or such, you just take the papers to the insurance company of your choice and they will issue a license plate right away. Michael

What happens when you remove the 4 Torx screws - can you pull out the connector? Best case it is not soldered to a board directly and has some free length of cable. Might be worth a try. Michael
