So, a couple weeks ago I got the chance to throw a leg over one of these and I knew I shouldn't do it but the temptation was just to much and I just had to know. Honestly, I've been sitting on the sideline here since these first came out, in fact I put money down on one at their first release offering and waited months with no word so I pulled out and have just sat waiting for the right time. Largely, I've been super concerned about range as it's not too uncommon for me to do 50+ mile rides that are fairly aggressive and from what I'm reading these are still not capable of hitting that target range.
Well anyhow, after that test ride I could not stop thinking about it and it just lit a fire "dammit, ugh" well then I started hunting and was able to find a barely used '25 MX 1.2 in the grey color which is what I wanted and the price was too good to pass on. So here I am, a new Varg owner and so far I've done one ride and I've gotta say this is easily the most fun bike I've ever owned and that's just after one ride in crappy dirt conditions, I can only imagine how much better it's going to be in better dirt.
The big downer though is the range, I suspect I'll be lucky to see 40 miles out of a charge and I'll be dealing with range anxiety once I hit 50% everything else though so far is just awesome, oh well except for these stupid "power tubes" what a joke........
I'm also hoping I can figure out a power setting that will allow for snappy hit off the bottom end for getting over trees and techy stuff without having to run 60hp setting as that's just going to get to lose and wild.

Congratulation on the new ride! The Varg has many advantages you'll experience and learn to exploit, but the snappy and controlled lifting of the front over obstacles is not one of them - at least not in the way a clutch will do. But that doesn't mean you can't do it - the powermodes can help, play with the advanced ones as well, but the key is proper technique. On an ICE bike with a clutch you can get away with a sloppy technique, on the Varg you can't. Be patient, keep practicing and it will come over time ✌️Good thing is though, if you can do it on the Varg it will be a breeze with a clutch ;)

Congrats and welcome to the family

I think that a range of 50miles is possible on enduro type riding, not that possible on higher continued speeds. Im normally do 35 miles with 30% battery left...

Stock tubes are very bad, change them asap
