    graphics kits

..."before you take the bike out for the first ride..." :) Totally agree, I'm not one typically to plaster logos all over my bike (I'm not a sponsored athlete, and don't want to pretend I'm one..) That said, I've seen some custom graphics that are really cool looking, which is what I'm...

    graphics kits

I'm noticing the plastic on our Varg's scratch really easily... so while I don't normally do graphics kits, I'm considering it.. Curious what people have used and loved (or hate - avoid) (Yes, I know how to use a search engine, I just love leveraging the communities experience) Thanks!

    Emergency kit?

a buddy who used to work for Alta told me they always took a tow strap w/ them (as they rode w/ other ICE bikes), that way if you run out of juice getting back you can get towed and use the regen to get enough juice back in the bike to get home... I think the mentions of being able to remove...

    LHRB

Question to folks who've fitted their bikes w/ the LHRB AND kept the foot pedal (using a double banjo bolt). Does the rear brake feel "soft" or do you get as good of modulation as you would w/ just the LHRB and the foot pedal removed?

    Stark Varg EX range

My EX did 45 miles (over 5.5 hours) of challenging single track, and a good bit of fire roads (to connect the singles..) I returned to the van w/ 15%, but had a good chunk of the miles back to the van downhill (of course, I had to go up initially). What I'm seeing is that speed is what kills...

    Advanced Mode Power

I'm starting to play around with the power modes (and regen) on my EX. 1. I'm struggling to find any actual documentation on how to do it 2. I don't see the ability to adjust flywheel weight (is this a future capability?) 3. it would be awesome to have 2 settings, 1 that mimics a 300 two...

    Aftermarket seat?

I have the SC comfort, which needs to be installed... Has anyone done this and have recommendations? (Normally, the seat comes off and is easy to pull the staples to pull off the old and install the new, but w/ the Varg the "back end" is all one piece, w/ no obvious way to pull just the seat...

I also got a notice that the disc protectors will come later...

    Varg Weights

Personally, I'll be really interested in how adjustable the power curves will be w/ the EX, as I have zero interest in 80hp, but I have a TON of interest in a 2T like power band (in enduro, which is where I plan to spend the bulk of my time on this bike). Watching Eddie do his thing makes me...

    Assembly quality?

"wine cork"..... classic! great stuff here, thank you... sounds like the typical "go through it all, grease and torque/loctite accordingly"... :)

    Assembly quality?

Curious if folks who have received their Varg (assembled by a dealer) have experienced any of the typical issues w/ a new bike assembly (I go through all my new bikes to ensure the bearings have been properly greased, bolts properly torqued, etc. as the factory and associated dealers very rarely...

Stark Varg Frame and Motor Protection

when asked about what they were made of: the guards are made of 20mil glossy vinyl, except for the lower frame guards which are 35mil matte textured vinyl. The vinyl is self adhesive (IMO., this doesn't sound very protective, but perhaps it would help w/ some of the paint damage from rubbing?)

    Charging - 220 vs 110

I just talked w/ Stark directly, the EX bikes will come w/ the 120v adapter...

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

In the event anyone is still watching this thread, I'd like to report back that Stark did a classy thing and called me to discuss the matter. That conversation was honest and candid.. a great representation of how to navigate a journey that's still getting the kinks worked out. (No startup is...

Taddy Terminates Contract with Stark, Blames "the unpredictable reaction of the motorcycle" In Racing Incident

A lack of clutch for enduro can't be easy to overcome, as a clutch is the ultimate way to neuter/manage power. Watching the Hard Enduro Burros where there is a Varg in play showcases this. That said, there are better ways to handle all of this..

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

great replies, thank you all!!! Agree on the transparency thing... asking someone to pay a non-refundable deposit (so they can get priority) then later saying "if you want priority, you need to buy it now, w/ an April delivery" is... different. That said, I planned to pay for it anyway, and...

"Action Needed: Secure Your VARG EX Delivery Date"

Stark is asking for the bike to be paid in full, months ahead of the bike being available to the public. Not only is this a break in the contract (I've paid a deposit to receive the bike), but more importantly the message it sends is "we need cash to continue operations". Neither is good...

    Charging - 220 vs 110

Do you use a generator for track charging? (If so, what do you use, and does it work well?)

    Charging - 220 vs 110

I don't (currently) have a 220v "quick" charger set up in my garage.. instead, I've been plugging my PHEV car into a 110v household socket, which of course takes forever, but it works.. (I just leave it plugged in over night). The Varg EX mentions having a 220v adapter as standard, w/ a 110v...
