Rich Larsen (IRC Tire Guy) Reviews the 2025 Electric Motion Factor E 2.5. Cliff Notes: he loves it, feels like an ICE bike, he loves the 4 sp tranny as he can conserve battery during transfer/road sections.

I have 6 electric motion bikes…a stark and an electric ktm as well as about 20 gas bikes. I will say that my new factor e is really close to my favorite bike. It’s amazing. Having gears or in this case different ranges helps choosing the correct attack and gives this bike an even better edge when needing traction. We spent a fair amount of time riding and filming with Benoit the EM factory rider at the world trials event in Rhodes island. He is riding a very stock bike and doing amazing in world trials against the gas bikes. He rides the smaller battery version, I have the 2.5 and the range is amazing. Cool point is the top gear is fast as heck…about 65mph. We are on Instagram as Black Sky entertainment.

Factor-e is a great bike. Tried swapping the drivetrain into a 2022 tm 300 2stroke. Wanted to build hard enduro single track electric. The battery shape is horrible for fitting into any frames beside a stock EM frame. If I was to attempt again would try a yz-f frame.

Wow that’s an interesting project…yes i agree the em battery is an odd bird. I actually have a full motor/transmission and electronics from a brand new ktm electric that I will eventually find a project for. That battery works well with several frames and is swappable. We own several of the XR model and I have a limited XR so that bike is amazing for hard enduro…nice that it’s smaller and can be tossed about…we usually run trials tires on them.
