He is wrong. My bike is not marked as produced or shipped (estimate is 29th April) and I have been getting the weekly update.

The weekly update is just a generic message anyway. But its better than nothing.
in my case they where completely messing with delivery date on their website, after state "produced" the date was another 4 weeks later but in fact I got it ten days after. When I got the shipment announcement from the hauler the date was October 9th.
But maybe that has improved in the meantime.

i order and paid in full on18 february, and the best part is that im from canary islands and in here we dont pay taxes for electrical vehicles and the bike cost me only 10.700€, 60hp version, probably i will upgrade to 80hp later. ETA 5 May

Is that the price you paid to Stark or is it a some form of subsidy?
How much for shipping?

My VIN number is 1560. Paid in full on January 22nd.
Vin 1360 paid December 23rd, 200 bikes a month, 240,000 received the first month, no phone number, no reliable way to communicate with them, I bought a Poele Voima, just before they went bust, and was one of the lucky one who received the bike, I said I would never do anything like that again, and here I am, I don't think there will be a problem getting the bike this time, I just wish they would engage with the customers, there was a reliable way to contact them, the shroud of secrecy around the production etc, is a bit theatrical, if they are selling 200 a month ex's they have probably sold around 600, people are now getting delivery dates in August, not sure how many MX are still being sold, our local dealer has an New and a ex demo mx in stock since before Xmas,

Are you saying 200 EX a month as an example or do you have any info?

AFAIK they do have a production capacity around 1000 bikes/month but did not run full steam. The delays for Varg MX had been noticeably longer for some time before EX announcement so they might have been building a bit of stock ahead of launch (then tripped on supposedly supply chain issues possibly involving KYB).

Just guessing here but they could have been making EX for 4-5 months so VIN 1600 means they could have devoted about half their production slots to EX. Undoubtedly this should slide even more towards EX given the much larger market for road homologated Enduro, plus the fact it's a new bike whereas dealers already have some MX in stock.

I just hope EX potential buyers will be well aware of the lack of possibility to charge the bike without the stand. If they buy it thinking they can plug it at work or at friends they'll be very disappointed. Charging stand makes sense for MX, less so for road homologated bike.

My Vin is 1360 paid around the same date in December, so for that period 200 vins have been allocated, or less if they miss out numbers,
