I also find it a bit odd that there aren't many posts from EX owners discussing different setups and how they can influence the bike's behavior. I expected to see people testing out some wild maps with aggressive torque at low RPMs to simulate a clutch dump.
The reason is, that Stark doesn't give us all the options yet. The max HP setting in low RPMs is limited to basically what the standard power modes use as well. Nevertheless there is hidden a lot more within the bike. I had a strange glitch with my power mode 5 as it was not only set to full hp, 100% regen but also instant throttle response - the moment you touched the throttle it would lift the front wheel, barely controllable. I tried to copy that with the same accessible settings in another mode, but it was never the same; not even close. Finally I tried to modify power mode 5 itself, but as expected the moment I saved it all the magic was lost and it behaved just like the other modes with a very controlled, but rather tame throttle response in the lower RPMs. I can see why Stark doesn't want the average rider to have access to that kind of setting as it is plain f***ing dangerous, but there is also hidden a lot of potential that many would love to exploit. That sounds like a serious firmware bug rather than an actual mode setting and should be reported. If the firmware has a bug like that it could be very dangerous. I kind of expect low level of experimentation once folks get used to using the throttle and hp/torque characteristics of the Stark with most of the basic mode settings. For example, at least for me, many of the things I thought I would need a clutch for --or simulation for a clutch-- I don't with my Stark. Many of the riding techniques (e.g. like clutch feathering) that ICE required due to its power delivery aren't needed in my experience. There were some tests somewhere early on with off the line starts and the Stark did well, not sure what they were using for settings though.I'm still eager to experiment with any advanced new setups they can offer.
