Can someone with MT......

Do we have anyone here in the Durham NC area that is willing/able to check out a MXR for sale at a dealer?

The potential buyer wants to make sure the bike doesn't have any Code 36 issues. The dealer doesn't have the right version of MT to check for this.

The VIN is 419, it's a 2018 MRX demo bike.

The dealer is Sport Durst Power Sports.

If the bike had a Code 36, it would latch and show on the display unless somone reset it. I'm also pretty sure it can be seen as latched in any version of MT.

Even if the bike wasn't updated?

I believe the wire bond issue showed as a Code 35 in earlier firmware. When updated, it reappeared as Code 36.

Ok, thanks. I think he's gong to pull the trigger and get the bike. The dealer is supposed to confirm if it's been updated to 1.5.1 and get back to him.
