Do our Vargs actually, "regen"?

He didn't really go into specifics but I never really thought about that possibility before.
At the 10 min mark
60% regen at 3600rpm (down a steep hill) gave me about 1.5-2KW of actual regen to the battery pack. It's definitly not insignificant over a period of time but also compared to the power draw it's basically nothing.

Very curious. In his case let's assume the settings were switched to 100% brake assist when he "put the bike in gear" (what many on the forum consider as, "regen") and he saw 11% of charge for an unknown time or distance. And then let's presume that if we can equally charge our bikes with spinning the rear wheel while in drive-mode, that a truck [or similar equipment] with a PTO driven device also could charge the bike, perhaps even as well as a petrol fueled generator powered electric charger. That, opens new doors for charge options.

It's certainly a unique option. But I doubt the fuel efficiency would be close to a generator. Then there are factors like wear on the bike/tyres. Great for a specific situation where you need just a little bit more juice to make it out of a valley for example. Say the other bike can't tow you up the hill, but can get towed to gain enough power to ride up yourself.

Would a tow with another bike be just as effective?
That is; how much resistance does regen makes to the rear wheel?

I've towed bikes before, and it's not fun at all if the terrain is at all choppy or uphill. Dragging a regen anchor may be worse.

In the past few weeks in enduro parks we've seen serious amounts of battery getting charged from just going down. I had a 10hp 100% regen for long steep but not technical downhills. It was not strange to see 2 or 3% after 5-10 minutes of going down.

Well the amount of regen can be adjusted. In heavy terrain you will put it to 0. But on some gravel or hard packed sand 80-100 for maximum charging.
